EXACTLY. Holy shit. All i can find now is zombie escape servers and all of them are filled with russians. The mode sucks ass. All i want is unlimited ammo ak and to shoot zombies god damn it. Give me a lasermine and we are golden

@@FormaxLt zombie escape is so repetitive, and the knockback is insane, i've rarely even managed to infect anyone playing that mode, i seriously dunno why people prefer it. The only close thing to zombie mod is zombie panic source, but even that game is dying, and the only classic server is not always with people.

The plague zombie mode was fun when there were primitive things and people played them almost 24/7, the current one has pure tryhards or because people are already very pro and well, boring game and they kill you all the time 🙂.

CSS had the best zombie mod in terms of gameplay, it had a huge community and played well. Never really got into the 1.6 style of zombies. CS GO improved on it because of more weapons which were fun for zombie mode, and more maps.

1st good ZM, all casual, only couple of zombie class (tank, light, and smthn special), maps like a zm_assault, only flashlight in EQ and nades... Guns at camp was important (someone's with shotgun to pull back the zombies when they try to enter, someone's with machinegun, and someone with AK), and the human team was important too, when u was alone player, u lost, not like today.. Some 2006-2008 years.. I was 10-12, good old times, sad cuz novadays kids never experience something like this

I used to play this game in 2011-2016, and honestly, i can't even compare those days with the modern ones. It had so much diversity in every mode without the thought of having someone unbeatable despite them paying for a special treatment. But after coming back after more than half a decade, i realized that it's basically the opposite of that. The servers were either Zombie escape and zombie infection with too much pay to win aspects; What's worse is that i couldn't find any Deathrun, Surf, and Prison break servers. It wouldn't be an understatement to already call this game dead in my opinion.

Man i remember the old days when i found AMAZING zombie servers, one of them had bot zombies and it was all about survival, and the other had some special looking zombies that looked kinda lovecraftian to me and the map was slightly darker, now all zombie servers are pay2win, the only people that survives are always VIPs
