The whole “ you don’t need to show the world” when you’re out of position makes so much sense. I get tunnel vision when I’m out of position and it shows. Great tip.

When I was a kid we never played for money. We used to play winner stays on until someone beat you. I used to play for hours without getting beaten with zero money. The trick was to get the table first, start a game and wait for someone to challenge you. There would always be a line of coins stacked on the table. You always knew the very few people who had a chance of knocking you off. One way to get plenty of practice.

I used to play at work, one of the company drivers also owned a pool bar, he played for money and stuff, practicing with him was what got me good on it

This is exactly what we used to do in the student union. I used to be able to hold the table for a while sometimes, but there were some good shotmakers, the regulars were very evenly matched. So much fun. Man I just realized how much I suck now, I should get a new cue and hit the tables again.

Hohmann seems like such a nice guy. I really like his approach to the game. And Rollie, you are not just an average guy that bangs balls around. In the Philippines, and I am sure in many other places, they call straight pool 14.1. Great game.

Thorsten is saying the 11 and 14 is a problem that needs to be addressed. One thing that could address it is shoot the 6 with follow making sure to end up on the left side of the 14 ball a bit then shoot it in the corner. Thorsten thinks the 11 and 14 need to be broken up but his first shot it's possible to get shape on the 14 in the corner.

Do you want hope? Do you want a purpose? Do you want eternal life? Jesus died for you thousands of years ago for your sins and mine. It is by believing in Him, placing our faith and trust in Him, and repenting of our sins we can be sure that we can have eternal life because of what Jesus has done for me and you!
