For best front tackle and some pass interceptions hold L2 plus X ... L2 is also for shielding the ball,holding longer îs for longer protection,while flicking short îs for short protection, it depends on the situation,position ,physic and form of the player at that moment ...and watch out,even if you create your tactics,it also depends on the manager you choose .I HIGLY recommend you to play offline on the rain at live broadcast camera or stadium

Just needs some improvement on ball control I feel. Overall I agree with what you have said, the game is better for those who like and understand real football, and not the arcade unrealistic FIFA game. Also love the fact that efootball at least carries over practically all of your assets from year to year. Better than Fifa were you essentially spend all year building a team for it to really be for nothing as you have to start all over again.

If you want a football game that feels more realistic then its pretty good. I even have more fun when I lose as its nowhere near as toxic as Fifa is. They gave away lots of free stuff last year including several versions of messi, a free neymar etc. just logging in daily gets you tons of free stuff. Still needs improvement but then again you cant say FIFA or EAFC24 is not without need for improvements itself.

The attacking AI and actual core mechanics are far better than fifa, and have been for the last year or 2. People don't actually realise or communicate how bad they are in fifa.

PES was never about online. It’s always been Master League with the option file included for clubs/badges etc. Gameplay was miles ahead of fifa, haven’t touched it since it changed to efootball though.

It always used to REALLY annoy me when FIFA fans would cry about PES "not having authentic teams/kits/players" when within a week of the game coming out it was a simple download and install to get everything you wanted, with actually more kit options than FIFA itself. I haven't played eFootball so I don't know if that sort of interactivity is still a thing though or does it actually have full licensing now?

Wouldn’t call it a rival the game is fine besides loads of bugs but it’s impossible for new players to even stand a chance playing online as progress carries over from old game so everyone’s team u come against is all 99 ovr and above great match making

I've enjoyed efootballs gameplay. It's simple if you prefer life like gameplay, it's efootball, its simulator. If you prefer arcade style football, it's EasportsFC. I'll go efootball this year.

to make it easier for FIFA players, Efootball23 or 24 is better than FIFA when it comes to Dream Team ( Ultimate Team in FIFA ) because you can develop players with time and games, no need to pay money to get good players basically everyone can land a super sick squad playing free, gameplay and smoothness Efootball is better too. The only thing FIFA is way better than Efootball is the team license FIFA have much more leagues, also since Efootball removed Master League and Become a Legend that made Efootball only an online game meanwhile in FIFA you can chill playing career mode, well Efootball is getting ML and BAL back but no specific date. FInaly thought, doesn't matter which game is better, if you enjoy one of them or both that's the important point, that you have fun playing something

We need a realistic leagues mode from top 15 countries, club career mode infinity, cups, champions league, ueropa. Automatically assist players to locate or relocate the ball on rebounds, safety headers from set pieces. at least 3 different voices on commentary with a slight different use of language grammar basically on English commentary, injuries, stoppage time should not be less than a realistic 1 minute as on the game as 3,4,5 minutes as an added time

eFootball just needs a weekend league type of mode and it will be on par with FIFA (EAFC). The gameplay is already clear of EA Sports offering, it’s just FIFA/EAFC have much better content unfortunately.

The trouble is with recent footie games is too many levels. Fifa, the only way to get anywhere is by doing REDICULOUS UNREALISTIC tricks, i.e in the top two levels against AI & against online people. eFootball is the same - REDICULOUS tricks. I refuse to CHEAT using tricks. I want a realistic game, like Fifa used to be.
