@@kitchenroam1509 yeah but currently you need somewhat good specs to run it, specifically at least 4gb ram afaict also there's an old clone on the play store called opsu so you could try that instead maybe the ios version (osu!stream) is somewhat of a different game, no custom beatmaps but there are hold circles and even two circles at once it used to charge you for song packs but now peppy has made them free and also made the game open-source so that's cool

quick retry was so quick because its tied to the "hold to activate" setting, since you set it to 0 it retried basically instantly

So, I'm a new osu player. (2024) I use Linux, and my app store installed lazer instead of stable. I didn't know this at the time, i thought that was how osu was now. (i was aware of the game and had tried it before) When i noticed that what i was playing was lazer when i watched like a 3 year old video about lazer development, i was like "ohh wait this "update" took 3 years?" When i learned how long lazer was in development for, i was simply shocked.

Same (Feb 2024), my first impression of the game was "Wow, this game looks, feels, and plays amazing". When I watched lazer dev videos, I was even more impressed. As a new player, lazer is just miles better than stable. If I was introduced to stable, I dont know if I would continue playing.
