Playing F1 24 On Controller...

No they should be listening to the actual drivers who race every weekend, not the esports crowd, not the casual crowd. This is just Codemasters being very incompetent and making probably the worst handling model of any racing game out there, from sims, all the way down to arcades

@@AB-mw8oz ah yes let's make it more difficult for casual players to get into the game and make it more SIM based so that less people can enjoy it unless they put ungodly amount of hours into it. I've played less and less of the games recently because they're honestly so awful to play as a controller player. They expect you to have a steering wheel to be half way decent. And not everyone does/will have that. The last great game imo was 2016.. the games after have been very good to average at best and I'm so glad I got gifted them as birthday gifts not actually having to pay for them myself

Codemasters are still the developers of the game. I think they can't make a good game with the new generation of cars. In F1 23 on the controler i can't race on Jeddah and Baku like previous games and the least said on f1 22 the beter. Well i will give f1 24 a chance.

In F1 23, there were some corners where you could have a second front wing on a controller and still understeer to the moon, and the AI front end will unrealistically bite as if it's on rails. This is essentially EA's way of saying "We can't be arsed to fix the AI, so we made the player's handling as unrealistic"

I got back on the F1 game on controller after a break, didn't play 23, the handling is HORRENDOUS, the traction control is way too powerful, the car behaves like if I was on ice, the weight transfert is soo sudden and weird, honestly I'm completely lost I feel like playing that old F1 2009 game on Wii, the steering wheel is also way too sensitive it's almost like there's no force feedback and no deadzone

On the pad it feels like there is a steering assist fighting you even though there isn't one on. Mid corner it's like the car tries to turn less OR more, it's like a lottery, so you don't know what to expect and it causes you to just be twitchy on the steering 24/7 as you do not know where you'll end up having to steer. I'm usually quite smooth on the pad but with this it's impossible to do consistent.
