Nintendo 100% needs to upgrade their console's hardware. Although you don't need every game to have realistic lighting and visuals, having more powerful hardware is only a plus.

@@ajflink it certainly doesn’t hurt to have better hardware but for the consumer I feel like the software is more important. But at the same time you need good hardware to run some of the developed software too *Cough cough* Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

@@charmandergamer1287 Very true. My main gripe with being using the Unreal Engine that no one optimizes. The only game that I can think of where it is so optimized on Unreal that you forget the game even is in Unreal Engine is Kingdom Hearts III. Ever since 64-bit became more standardized, some developers use it as an excuse for not having optimized code as there is technically (i.e. software-wise) no limit on memory. There are a lot of games out there now that use a very questionable amount of RAM (i.e. more than seems to be needed).

I laughed out loud when I saw this announced in the Indie World showcase, I couldn't imagine it running on the Switch. Really surprised they got it working. Thanks for running through it John! I wouldn't risk it cooking my switch this close to the release of Tears of the Kingdom. You are a brave man!

I'm honestly impressed it runs smoothly all things considering. Freaking Markiplier's computer had a hard time handling it and I would assume he would have like the best computer. Even through I just got a Steam Deck I think I'll get it on my Switch. I'm honestly so curious it will play for me.

That’s just games fault more than his PC. It was INCREDIBLY unoptimized when released. Probably still is a little bit with the updates. Could say the same being impressed though, might buy it.

I'm very happy to see the Switch version run so well. Very smooth gameplay all things considered. I played the PS5 version and I experienced both some performance issues and some issues that made parts of the game harder than it was supposed to be. I saw none of those here and I think that deserves applause.

The controls were easy to figure out for me (I figured out crouching and sprinting before their cards appeared to be like "here's what you do!"), and I look forward to finally playing this game for myself.

I'm... genuinely surprised this can even run on a Switch. Hell I'm surprised it can FIT on a switch. It does look a fair bit blocky, And that's OK! Ya gotta make cuts somewhere. That opening video still sends chills down my spine. No... It's not the best game ever, not even close. But ya know... I never... ever tire of Glamrock Freddy. I have problems. I'm also glad your switch didn't melt. This game turns my steam deck into a heater, same with Octopath Traveler 2 for some reason. On the Toy Freddy plush in Daycare: You're correct, it used to be Regular Freddy, not Toy Freddy... Interesting that it would have changed. Also, I want a plush that big.

My favorite thing about this port is how it uses the HD Rumble of the joycons. It makes it a bit easier to play with the game on silent because you can feel how far away the animatronic is with the vibrations of the joycons.

Wow. The Helpy save station texture image is actually clear in the Switch version, unlike the PS4 version which got butchered in the latest patch and is now a blocky mess. Another L for Steel Wool.

If a PS4 can play Read Dead 2 without lag with the best graphics and lighting, then I can't see why SB can't be played with high-quality lighting, textures, models, and without lag. Steel Wool really needs to optimize the PS4 version.
