Some people just have natural veins like that. I do. They pop up when you squeeze your muscles, so naturally during pain or while tensing your muscles they pop up. Had Doctors say I have "Good Veins" because they pop out so much. The veins also pop up where it's more muscular, so his legs and calfs are probably insanely veiny.
