On console, most games with options to interact are on the left button (square or X). Reload is almost always that same button. Its not weird when you are used to controller but i understand why it could cause confusion to MnK players

Since they changed the settings on controller I can't hit shit anymore. I literally can't even hit a grunt 5 meters in front of me and I was a good player before this change. Crytek already did this in the past one time and I needed several days to find out my old settings.

i remember playing cod zombies on console and as soon as i got a pc im just like...how do u even play shooters on controller, i want that nice flick capability and precision and my sensitivity high af i think i currently play 10k on my sensitivity and its so nice, i feel slow af on controller. i do still have one but thats just to play a certain few games like dark souls games that feel janky on mouse and keyboard lol or if im playing a game that has driving in it

In Halo: Infinite competetive games, there was a problem with people using mouse and keyboard, along with a device that "tricks" the game into thinking you are using a controller. Tbey got the "aim assist" (bullet magnetism in Halo) with a mouse and keyboard. I hope they took precautions adding any sort if aim assist to this game on PC.

we can only hope that they will never put aim assist in the game. in other games people run fake controller programs to gain the aim assist for mouse. if you think reshade was bad, wait for aim assist on mouse and keyboard..

I don't think reshade was bad while pay2win skins and legacy graphic bugs exist. But the worst thing in the Hunt is autobalance, when 3-4 mmr can play vs 6 mmr gay party.

I play on controller, and I'm screaming at the screen for him to double tap Y/∆ to quick swap to melee and kill those pesky grunts hahaha. I have a controller with Hall effect joysticks, so this update has been REVOLUTIONARY being able to fully turn off the deadzone. I swear the old style pre-update was like 50% of input being deadzone. I had a curve preset using Steam Controller settings but it was still rough being on effectively a hair joystick. Being able to use my full travel, and finally renable accelleration at the edge for smoother evasive maneuvers has been night and day. I can actually counter sway now

I'm a hunt showdown pc controller player. Normally im 4 to 5 star but since this controller update its been hard. I had to change my controller settings all around just for it to feel good. The changes they did on controller is so bad. They didnt need to change the controls at all in my opinion. I got rid of the boost and turned up my sens to make it feel a lot better.

I believe this game could be great with Cross play. Remember that option to opt out of Skill based matchmaking that disappeared sometime ago? Turn that into an opt out of Crossplay/input based matchmaking check box. Everyone wins.

Aim assist can be helpful for me as a console player, but I usually have it off because I don't like my reticle being dragged where I'm not trying to aim.

@RachtaZ I really like, that you were trying to play with a controller and equalized your handycap, with game sense. And don't get me wrong, but it's always amusing to me to see a mouse and keyboard player, playing with a controller, because many M&K Player are like, you need an aim assist to properly hit your shots etc. I think most of the mouse and keyboard players, are forgetting how much harder it actually is, to have only two thumbs to aim with, instead of having a whole hand and/or arm to aim. Though walking/running is kinda the same, except for you have sticks instead of WASD. Nevertheless I really enjoyed, seeing you succeed and being openminded for playing with a controller :-) PS: In the console version of Hunt Showdown, you're even able to enable/disable the aim assist. And with the new changes tonthe aim assist, it's like magnet if both opponents are moving, which making lead shots nearly impossible.

Aim assist was unnecessary for consoles. If everyone is using a controller, than AA only lowers skill gap.

that would be terrible. crossplay works in games like dead by daylight where there is no precision, or games like battlefield where there are so many players 1 person isn't going to be able to carry it on his own. in a small game like hunt (12 players per game) where it's all about accuracy., throwing console players in against mouse and keyboard players is going to just be a slaughter. explosive ammo is meta on console, explosive ammo is a meme and useless on PC. the game balance and meta is completely different between the versions.

Bigger player pool, less waiting time. Console players can use mouse and keyboard since the Xbox one/ps4. Me personally I would use a scuff controller with aim assist. The benefit of aim assist I think outperforms mouse and keyboard.

rachta you old dog, we dont have aim assist on consoles either. Well, yeah, but it only works for AI and stuff like barrels etc. Which can be even disadvanage when you try hit some dude fighting with lets say grunt. So no AA for players.
