@@MaryAnneCowan Hi. Lovely to hear from you. I was actually born in Belleville , moved to Quebec for 2 years then moved to Comox when I was 9, then on to Vancouver for high school. I lived in Ottawa of and on in the 80s and 90s. I didn’t get back here until my husband retired. I do love it here, although not so much this winter. We’ve had your winter this year with 15 inches of snow in 1 night. At least it was gone in 4 days. Strange to see 8 foot snowbanks here. The summers are wonderful though, no mosquitoes and no rain. I hope you get back often to see your son. I get to Ottawa every June and sometimes once more. It is such a beautiful city. I have another son and grandchild in Carleton Place. I do wish this country wasn’t so big sometimes
