I love how the ghast just gives up. Maybe it didn't like being forced into hibernation for a full day.

Watt’s eye’s open to destruction. The fireball flies past his vision, an eruption of fire and rock exploding from the impact. Watt focuses on the sender, the ghast, only to watch it retreat past the towering cliffs, deeper into the nether. Watt returns his attention to the bartering piglins, still trapped in their holes, admiring the gold. The single piglin of the first hole ejects more trades into its small den, the last of the gold consumed. Watt climbs down into the hole with the preoccupied piglin, searching the heap of items for anything of use, particularly the glossy, dark aqua of an ender pearl. With only string and book glistening with, whilst useful, mundane spells, Watt throws the junk into his storage chest, his exposed base of utility teetering on a crater carved by the ghast’s fireball, their edges scorched and scratched. Watt’s mind wanders as the mundane setting of trading once again overcomes him, and he finds himself famished from the action of the nether, the undying coals of the screaming flames showing no passage of time. “I’m hungry :( ,” Watt retorts.
