I am 100% enjoying this... i hope you make it a series... not to many people don't know Minecraft and how it works and i love watching people learn new things... from you perspective im learning Minecraft is a DANGEROUS place and the enemies are endless at night... but im getting a whole new sense of Minecraft as a game, and how tough it actually is when you start fresh

I never realized that Bedrock somehow tells you LESS about how to play the game than Java does. In Java, there’d have been a note in the corner that tells you to hold the punch button to break the wood.

They loading screen tells you a lot of things instead of having the need to look up for facts, and I think that's what makes Bedrock a better experience for first time players-

You can also right click on the crafting table and toggle the bar towards the top from “nature” to “craftable” which will show you what items you can create with the resources that are in your inventory, makes it so much easier to craft items

haha you don’t lose all your stuff when you die, you just have to go back to where you died and your stuff should be on the ground. the pickaxe let’s you break stone, axe breaks wood, so on and so forth. i recommend making your pickaxe than collecting stone to upgrade your tools to be a bit stronger and faster. you can also make a sword! it’ll help you fight all the monsters and try building a small dirt or wooden house to protect you at night (: i remember playing for the first time and being so lost aswell

You have to get the ground by keep pushing the button you don’t just keep smashing it you just push it and then you wait until it gives it in your inventory

Basic instructions to survive the first night in Minecraft: Thump tree until you obtain at least 4 logs, preferably more. Place logs in onboard crafter to make planks Place 4 planks in onboard crafter to make crafting table Use either onboard crafter or crafting table to make sticks Make a wooden pickaxe in the crafting table. Make a wooden shovel in the crafting table. Make a wooden axe in the crafting table. Remove crafting table and keep in inventory. Find a hill. The steeper the better. Using a combination of shovel and pickaxe, remove dirt and stone from side of hill until there's enough to form a makeshift shelter. If you're lucky enough to find coal while mining stone, make torches. Upgrade wooden pickaxe, shovel and axe to stone ones if possible. If it's still light, obtain 3 wool from sheep by killing them with sword. Collect more wood if necessary. Craft bed and place it within your shelter and illuminate shelter with torch, both inside and outside. Make a door in the crafting table and place across entrance to your shelter. (Duh...) When night falls, sleep in bed and thus, avoid mobs.

I love minecraft and always wish I could go back to being a noob and learning how to play, but a couple things to help start off, first tools the types of tools by strength lowest to highest are wooden, stone, iron, gold, diamond and netherite. pickaxe is for the different stones, axe is for wood, shovel is for sands, and sword is for fighting at night and in caves, you'll definitely want a sword to kill the enemies or if you craft a bed you can sleep at night and not deal with them at all. lastly youll need food to fill your hunger bar and that will replenish your health. hope this helps start and can't wait to see more!

kill 3 sheep and gather 3 wooden planks. Once you have the materials, right click on the crafting table to use it and create a bed. Once you have a bed you can right click to sleep when the sun goes down and it will redirect you to morning so you won’t die from zombies

i have one tip for you if/when you play more: make shelter. that way, you can hide at night. plus, six wooden planks lined up in your crafting table next toeachother vertically makes a door, so you don’t even have to dig your way in and out of your shelter.
