hey! your local aetherfall battlegrounds sweat here: the difference between ultimate and mode weapons on aetherfall is that the ultimate weapons are single moves that do big damage (usually a 1 shot) and the mode weapons are ultimate modes like every other bg game

Aetherfalls weapons have different ultimates concepts. Some weapons ultimates put you into a "mode" where the ultimate bar is drained and you get new m1s and a new moveset, typical ultimate stuff in BG, thats why its called a mode weapon. Ultimate weapons are ultimates where you press the button and it drains your ultimate bar completely doing one usually giant oneshotting (most of the time) move. Hope that helps

Straight up skill diff, 90% of the moves in the game are blockable, and they have a ragdoll cancel SPECIFICALLY for the unblockable moves so you can’t get infinitely combo’d

The only thing i HATE about aether battleground is that combos are hard to pull off, your healthbar gets melted with some characters, and with the new map there are more teamers than ever (like seriously it's all bacons who's account was created in 2024 tryna third party) Also, about mode and ultimate : i think ultimate give you 1 move when you press G, and mode give you a normal ultimate with 4 moves
