The more I look into this, the more it seems like they’re trying to reach out to children. 1. It’s being release on mobile 2. The e y e s. The huge, anime eyes appeal to children. 3. Open-world style. They’re trying to make it feel not cooped-up so it seems like there’s more to do than there actually is Overall, it seems like this is more for MSP as a business than it is for us, the consumers. Edit: so I edited this comment to change the order of the numbers, and someone pointed out that Katie Darling’s heart next to my comment disappeared. R.I.P :(

Gosh I cant stress how much I think u are right. When you see all those people commenting that it seems like one of those games you download and get bored of it right after playing it, it's because those games are more appealing to children than to us, being older. There it is the same, the characters look so cartoony but at the same time 3D, it's more “interactive” (f.e. you can tap on things to sit on them), and some others things prove that. Though I think there are some new features I wish could be available in og Msp, (like the fact u can choose wether you want to make ur look public or private, or the huge choice of clothes u get when u first start playing), I still feel like og Msp is better than that. This is just my opinion tho, but there I say it again i think u are truly right.

It’s not released to any server yet, nor is it released on any device. It is not available in the AppStore. You see, her channel is based off of MSP and she is almost at 100K. Her and other MSP channels got to test it out early. We are not able to. There is an app called TestFlight, but you can only get into it if you got an invite code. If you go into the app, it’s going to say “no apps to test” and then a pop up is going to appear asking for the code. They supposedly were able to download the app and/or got a code and tried it. It’s really only Big-Time MSP channels that got to test it. But it did not release to the AppStore yet.

but people might like the old msp better and the majority of the game changed. Msp editors may prefer editing with the old msp rather than the ‘new msp’ so the creators of msp possibly want us to be able to play msp in the old or new version so we don’t have to be forced to just adapt to the ‘new changes’.

Id say that msp2 has its pros and it's cons, the major con is msp losing its originality, and looking like every other social game, if you know what I mean, and a major pro in my eyes is that you can finally put poses in your looks, me in my opinion they should have had that since day 1, it just brings a better "pop" to your look if you know what I mean, now the only two questions I have now is, when will msp2 be released to everyone?
