Im so so so happy you got around to playing it with a friend. I too had a sour taste in my mouth after watching your OG OoT stream and its a shame your first experience wasent playing this game amongst friends and peers, but with viewers and whatnot. So glad you ended up to not only play it with a friend like lots of us growing up, but with a two player version! Hope you see now why so many of us love this game and it holds true to our heart!

@Luis Felip Trench Meyer Pflug from what I heard he played the game and I suppose the controllers and overall game was hard for him considering it was his first time playing. Also he wasn’t feeling the game much anyways. So he played it on stream when he was first starting out as a streamer and had a bunch of said things he didn’t want public. He usually uploads his full streams on his vod channel but it took a while to do bc he had to cut stuff out. So while that was happening there were many people constantly commenting and dming him very vile stuff and being mean and I hear even death threats? All because he wouldn’t upload the vods immediately. Also there were many people spoiling the game for him and Eric hates spoilers so yea that was that too. Overall that experience ruined the game for him and he hasn’t played since until now :) I wonder what made him change his mind

2:10:08 Epona is named after an Irish Horse Goddess of the same name, so it'd likely be an Irish pronunciation. I can't explain how to pronounce words, especially in other Languges, through text so it's best to look up how the Goddess is pronounced. I only know this through an Irish friend who's really adamant about Irish history and language. There's also Epona's song that has official lyrics to it called "Epona no Uta" and it's pronounced "Eh Poh Nah" in that. Another possible way to know is to look up the Katakana used in Japanese cus that's usally used for pronouncing Non Japanese names and words. Which is probably where the pronouciation in the lyrical one comes from.

A lot of games did that back then. Especially with large areas with a fixed camera angle. The background in these situations are flat images, and the characters are essentially walking around in an invisible 3D space in front of it. Saved time.
