problem with new fortnite is having bots and good players in the same lobby. ill mindlessly kill 13 bots in a row and then run into the best player ive ever seen in my life out of nowhere and get full boxed. the og thing was so fun at first because the bots were gone so you always had to keep your guard up. thats also why solos used to be so scary but fun back in chapter 1

@@IdkxXxXs sadly not true :c IIRC in standard fortnite, 75-85 players are bots, and in ranked its more like 30-40. bots are everywhere for some reason. its fucking annoying and i hate epic because of it.

i can tell you what the problem is or at least what i believe it is! see if you look at competetive fortnite you don't see them build like quad edits and just W key anyone they see, they play a more tactical survival game play where every placement matters, see that's why the better you get the more you gain, but in public you have nothing to loose, no one cares if you die, worse is for duo, trios or squads as if you die you can always just get rebooted, we have become mindless of dying in the game, see back in the days if you died you're out, and therefor the protection of our lives in fortnite mattered more, so it was more about surviving in your fort you builded and outlast the others until the game ended, but it was not as much of just rushing but more of a tactial play, cause you couldn't just risk it all as the stakes was higher if you did do so

Been playing Fortnite since season 1 and I’ve been playing the og season for the past month and I gotta say, you are a breath of fresh air for me. I haven’t watched Fortnite content consistently since chapter 2 season 2 so seeing how much energy and effort you put in is always amazing to watch. I used to spend a crap load of time trying to think of a base that was virtually indestructible yet not expensive to build. By indestructible I was trying to make one that couldn’t be naded without the nade bouncing or rolling off. I had a pyramid style design that had some peak spaces to shoot from using small openings made with edited roof tiles and half walls. Never worked cause I always got killed while farming or someone snuck into it

This is how I play OG Fortnite. Unfortunately there's always 1 or 2 sweats towards the end of the game with around 10 - 15 kills each. Sweats need to stay out of OG Fortnite, so mediocre players can experience the OG experience and actually stand a chance. I'm a little sweaty, but when it comes to OG Fortnite I don't try unless the opposing players choose not to play like OG players. And when the player proves to be better than me, I go Potato mode and let them box me, 9 times out of 10 i kill them when they go for the edit kill.

I was never a builds guy but I much prefer setting up massive forts (hence the name of the game) than the sweaty build fights Just seems more fun and would make builds more enjoyable
