Top 100 player here, I got a nasty blitz in the 5-2 formation, engage eight but put the seam db on a coverage assignment and use the linebacker and cover the WRs for a split second

@@lucassears5506 the db that starts off in the seam in the formation, really it doesn’t matter, you can put any of the safety’s back there on a zone assignment to not get beat deep, and user one of the linebackers and use him to defend the quick pass in the flat, you’ll only need to defend him right off the release

Dude that’s called sending your whole team 😭. This statement makes me question if you are actually a top 100 player. 5-2 gets the disengages blitzing angles that mug and 6-1 used to get. So you can kinda just call cover 2 and get that pressure. Sending 6 is not what we are looking for

Dude if you have a great user, if you look under the special teams tab you can find a play called squeeze block under punt returns. You have to be quick and move the returner up and user him but it’s usually an instant sack. Sometimes they make a throw to the left side of the field. But I’m there for the pick every time

I basically run cover 4 palms, cover 9, and cover 6 exclusively out of 335 penny vs all formations. You have to drag your zones into better leverage situations before snap so you have to actually know their assignments which makes it hard to run. People have to check down most times because my pass rush gets there most plays and most people don’t want to throw drag routes or out routes all game. When they go 4 strong I turn my quarter into a cloud on the strong side this carries most corner routes long enough to make them throw to the check down. Make a cover 3 cloud with hard flats in certain scenarios and it’s been good to me. I get at least 16 wins in champs every week and I’m currently in elite 3 grinding to get the best WR for when ranked ends. You just can’t expect to cover everything every play like meta defenses but it gets people confused most games. I get good d line sheds too because a lot of people just pass so I pass commit and sometimes my outside LB comes free

@@tdotjdotm yeah 3 rec is supposed to take the first inside and he was trying to user posts that were covered. It’s better to user the deep blues because you can manually guard stuff and then switch stick around but he’s too stubborn and then will blame match instead of not knowing. Even on the cover 4 beater he could’ve simply used the outside corner on the strong side and taken it away. But madden players are so used to usering a middle LB their brain can’t comprehend usering anyone else. The reason why match is so hard is because you have to know exactly what they cover and requires football + madden knowledge instead of just madden knowledge of an easy blitz before your opponent can actually read a defense

I’m got a 5 man blitz out of 3-3 , not the cub just nickel 3-3 . It gets A gap heat , and also heat from the edge or the B gap depending . I’m a terrible player it’s an easy set up trust me bro the play is called LB 0 blitz

Dime 3-2 cover 6 willie run that and that only. Guy comes in free half the time , sheds are good. And u can transform the coverage into match , cover 4 hard flat , or cover 6 look

This is awful advice lol, I’m top 100 players in reg and doing this will get you destroyed by the run. Idk if the update changed it or what but if you’re coming out in 3-2 and they run they will average 8 yards per run lmao. Run 5-2 when you think it’s a run and 3-2 when it’s a pass

@@lilbun4880 pretty sure they made it that way after the update cuz it wasn’t like this before. You’d be able to run dollar even when they run but now naw. For passing it’s still the best tho for sure

Very similar approach. I come out in DBL safety blitz and that blows up any run (singleback, iform) and I switch to cover 6 willie against shotgun/pistol bunch te. Just need to move strong side safety up a little bit to avoid getting bombed deep Even when the guy doesn't come in free, he causes disengages.
