@13:00. My class mate had that (original) tennis game back in 1989, and it blew my mind! The graphic, the sound, the animation and movement, and the fact that his DAD enjoyed playing the game. If I'm not mistaken, I ruled at this game.

Captain Tsubasa 2 is one of the best famicom games ever made with one of the best soundtracks of the system. Is an excellent rpg/soccer game based in the anime with the same name. Worth a try

"A lot of Captain Tsubasasa." "Yeah, I don't know what that even is." Seriously? You never heard of "Captain Tsubasa"? It's one of the most popular sports manga & anime from early 80's to early 2000s (and had a new series that came out last year). And it's also the best-looking NES soccer game I've ever seen. The only way I can explain how a former "Angry Nintendo Nerd" haven't even heard of it is that it came out on Famicom under that name and was released on NES as "Tecmo Cup Soccer Game" (no, seriously - that was the actual official title in the west). "Dead Double Dragon Twins" Oh, wow. That reminds me of a "Nekketsu! Street Basket: Ganbare Dunk Heroes" rom hack I made long ago. Except in my version there was no blood, just every basketball player on the field being headless. "Batman sucks! He's letting it go right by!" He let it go 'cause you made a faulty serve. Batman got the points and the ref even shouted "Double Fault!". How did neither of you see that? XD "That's Catwoman as the ref." Uh... no. That's clearly Bat-Mite. At least James seemed to doubt it was Catwoman, even if he didn't recognize the character. "Super Contra Out of Control" Now *that* is the true definition of "bullet hell". XD

From my understanding, Contra will loop forever, but you cap out your score around 8 loops and that is usually considered "completing" the game.

Oh wow, that Contra one reminded me of Hellfire for the Genesis. A pure Impossibly hard bullet hell experience, except with 3 lives and losing weapons when you die. It had an amazing soundtrack though.

There is actually a full backstory to Druggy Final Fight. Haggar gets high on PCP and goes on a rampage punching everyone. Then, after the final boss, his high wears off and he realities what he has done, so he commits suicide by jumping out the window.

The Holy Relics Castlevania hack is excellent because it is somewhat non-linear. You can do the stages in a different order to use the relic items more effectively. I'm not sure if anyone has worked out an optimal speedrun route for it yet...so it may still be up for grabs?

Seeing the NES EverDrive in the thumbnail, you should definitely get the EverDrive 64 if you don’t already have it. This allows you access to all N64 and NES games on one system, since the ED64 can play all NES games as well.

In stage 3 of Super C, when you get to the cannons that launch projectiles into the air, you can shoot the projectiles before they fall on you. Makes that part significantly easier.
