Yeah Spore is fun. Many people didn’t like tribal and civilisation stages back then but I loved playing them in childhood ❤

I wish I could have played them as a kid! It's been great as an adult. The stages weren't bad like many people were saying, but like I said in the video, I can understand why these stages are underwhelming. To be honest, it feels like they had much more planned but they couldn't get it fleshed out in time for release!

The purpose of domesticating the wild animals is that they lay eggs for food, if you look closely to their pen you'll see a square made out of wooden fence where eggs basically generate over time and its a good source

Oh thanks for that info! That's really cool! There was a lot of cut footage from this upload and that would've been much easier to just use eggs instead of hunting over and over! Thanks for that!

My comment made a cameo, yay :D The Viktors were obviously out to get you for killing their 'epic' brother. xD In case you never figured it out (or just didn't add it in the video): by taming creatures, they'll lay eggs for food and will help protect the village if there's an attack. :)

This comment may make a cameo too! I wish I would've known they lay eggs and help protect the village! I never brought it up again because I had no clue what it did! All those Viktor tribes must've spawned because they saw the great beast Viktor and aspired to be like him 😆

What makes these stage fun is pure chaos that can happen with different interactions between multiple tribes, it gets even more crazy on civilisation level

Why did you make a new planet? You don't get the special bonuses from past paths that way and those paths also determine your ending philosophy which is a bit botched if you skip stages. A playthrough that skips stages will also make it so you won't have all space bonuses, for example predator in creature stage gives your ship in space stage 50% more health but now you get nothing. For example, you became a Shaman with 2 green cards as you had all green and started from tribal, but if you continued on the original save youd have 2 red cards and 2 green cards afterwards which would make you a religious zealot in space stage. You'd also have 2 more bonuses.

That is a very good question and I'm surprised no one else noticed but you! So being new and all, I had a bit of a hard time learning how the save files worked. To put these videos together there are some backend processes that people aren't aware of to improve the overall quality and watch-ability of the content. A primary example is going in and getting some extra footage of something I want to discuss after the fact. What happened in this case was I was trying to have everything unlocked, either for screenshots, or displaying different parts, etc., but I didn't want it to ruin my save file. Not knowing that deleting my file would make my planet go away. Since I'm new, I didn't know of a way to restore my old planet again. The Solar system I was in just vanished. So I simply started a new planet when I learned that mistake. Another time was when I deleted it by accident. So hopefully that explains some things. I appreciate your comment though! It's a bummer because I could have really used those bonuses you're talking about

How did you get the herbivore mouth while playing as a canivore

I might've made an adjustment to my creature between stages, I can't quite remember! I think it was an omnivore mouth I ended up getting but stuck to only a meat diet

Great question! It's been a little while since I filmed this so I apologize if what I'm saying is not entirely correct. But if I remember right, I thought when deleting a Spore save file I could pick up on that same save file over again (same planet) with the new species. I was still learning the save system. When I develop these videos sometimes I need to do what's called pick up shots or still shots for thumbnails, and I collect these during the editing process. I made the mistake of deleting the planet I was on but keeping the species which in turn made me lose these abilities (so I remember anyway) I still wanted to honor the playthrough as a whole and explore the game to the best of my ability, so I was still learning how it worked along the way. I don't think I really got the hang of the save system for this game until Space Stage, which was the finale of the Spore series!
