Since you are playing terrible games, I thought I’d give you some hints on how to beat each one. Daikatana: For improved controls, switch the power button to off, insert a Turok 1 or 2 cartridge, then switch the power back on. Rise of the Robots: Most robots require 6 AA batteries. Remove them for a quick win. Batman: Batcuffs can be used to restrain enemies. Drake of the 99 Dragons: There’s a weird glitch where if you run toward most any door with your guns out, it will open automatically. Shaq Fu: Choose Magic Johnson as your tag partner. His magic is very powerful in this realm. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: Combine your Oompa Loompas to form Uber Loompa, a powerful candy-shooting mech Aquaman: Avoid the water areas until you unlock the Iron Boots and Water Tunic. MK Advance: Most Gameboy Advances require 2 AA batteries. Remove them for a quick win. Simpsons Wrestling: Since there’s no ref and you count your own pins, immediately count to three at the beginning of a round. Wayne’s World: Google “Wayne’s World GameFAQs” for walkthroughs, cheat codes, and hidden easter eggs. Great not great picks, Rob!

I have managed to avoid bad games over the last 24 years by using the Internet and therefore finding online reviews for games. Maybe you could do an episode of games that were hyped up but were either disappointing or you just didn't get into them. I have loads like that.

Good video, Mr. Anderson 😎 I remember the Shaq game 😵.. Assassins Creed 3, the controls, glitches and all over the place storyline. Portal 2 is just the same thing over and over. There's no substantial storyline.

Great video Rob! You and your channel are terribly underrated. I get excited anytime I see one of your videos. This was a lot of fun. The only games I ever played were mortal kombat advance and Shaq fu. I remember that mortal kombat game being REALLY hard and frustrating and Shaq Fu was just repetitive and kind of boring. Man, The Simpsons wrestling was a peak moment for me and my brother growing up. I can agree it’s probably not the most fun as an adult but when you’re a kid , it a blast. Other wise, these games looked either rushed , unfinished or just poor budgeting and development. At least the one not terrible in this video is you dude! Great vid, I need to learn how you edit and voiceover 😂

When you said you should just jump into the river of fudge and end it, I lost it. 😂 Beautiful comedic tone and timing. These games, well... some of them probably should never have been greenlit, some properties were never going to make great gaming material but sometimes publishers be crazy. If you HAD to make a Wayne's World game though, it might have benefitted from being a point n click/FMV adventure that lets you just goof off in that little universe, maybe even break the fourth wall like Night Trap did a bit. I can also see merit in a Willy Wonka game, but I'd prefer it in the original art style, maybe make it more of a Fable-lite kinda adventure.

Yeah sometimes it looks good on paper but developers cannot convey the image, and I’m a big point and click fan and a Wayne’s World game like that would’ve been pretty cool as it worked well for Beavis and Butthead on PC 🤷🏼‍♂️ I love the idea of a Fable inspired Wonka game, now that would be something! Shame about a couple of these. That batman game and aquaman seem like a solid start to a decent game, but maybe got rushed out 60% complete. Fun video though! I enjoy bad games. They can provide their own sort of entertainment 😅

Thanks for this video, I really needed it tonight, hearing you talk about some bad games was fun and put me in a better mood 😊. Also I had to laugh out loud with the first choice, Daikatana, I still remember the tag line for the game XD. Can't say I have ever played any of these games, though I have seen the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory game, it looks hella bad lol, also the movie was one hell of a fever dream!. Oh I have also never understood why The Simpsons Wrestling was bad, I have never played it true, but that's because the boys at afternoon care never let me play! so I just watched the game and thought it looked fun haha. (I don't know anything about wrestling, but listening to what you say about it makes more sense I guess) As for my worst game. I really didn't like Mario Tennis Ultra Smash on the Wii U. Mario Tennis is my favourite Mario sports game as Tennis is my favourite sport to play! The GameCube and N64 versions were so amazing! the Wii U game however.. it was awful!! I mean there was nothing technically wrong with the gameplay or graphics as such, it's just bare! there is barely any game at all! no single player tournament mode, none of the tons of content the previous versions had! Even the N64 version had more to do in it! I regret so much paying full price for it when it released. I only did so because I read the IGN review and thought how it had to be wrong haha, oh how wrong I was instead lol. Honourable mention goes to Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi for the PS1, it's a Tekken clone, my friends and I had a lot of fun with it back when we were young haha. It's been a while since I have played it of course and so I don't know why, but most people who review it on KZbin seem to not like it! 🤷‍♀ Anyway thanks again for the video, it was a lot of fun and I hope you're well and doing okay, Rob! ❤

I remember Shaq fu back when I was in high school. Friends were telling me not to buy this game because it's horrible. The Simpsons wrestling was a shock because I had played road rage and hit and run. I figured a Simpsons themed wrestling game would be a hit but it looks to choppy. I heard of rise of the robots but never played it. I normally stayed away from bad games after renting them from blockbuster or hearing from word of mouth from friends

😂😂 I called out Rise of the Robots before the video started, it came at a time when a lot of games were being hyped in the UK and were generally good so loads of BS surrounded this before it even released any why so many copies exist lol. You only needed to look at the screen shots to tell it wasn't a winner. 😆 Funny how so many fighting games make the list. One more, Sword of Sodan! 😁

Worst I remember buying was Super Hydlide on Genesis because there is absolutely nothing redeeming about it. Worst that was bought for me was Budokan also for Genesis due to the inaccurate play control and hit detection.

Shaq Fu is so bad, it's pretty much unplayable. I totally forgot about Wayne's World. Rented that on a whim many years ago. I think the follow up to Rise of Robots is worse than the original. Characters are smaller and the controls are abysmal. Good chkices though. I still stand on my soapbox about Power Serve 3D Tennis being the worst game ever.

@@retrobeliever - contextually, I do love demakes. .. And on that note I am always appreciative when developers make the time and effort to port games over to what can could be considered lesser hardware, even if some compromises need to be made. Not saying that you were doing this but I will see people complain about these inferior releases but I just really think it's cool that they made the effort, I think it's fun to see the differences between the releases .. . This is the case when it comes to some switch ports, which in general are typically very impressive as I'm sure you might agree. I think many are too ready to dog these ports when so many of them truly are exceptional, all things considered. Speaking of Demakes, I was playing some PS1 games recently to upload to my channel and it occurred to me how much I would love a Katamari demake for PS1 .. . I wish companies were willing and able to release official demakes for previous consoles. I'd love an EA skate demake on PS1 too. By the way, such great news that additional THPS remakes may be coming before too long!!

It did say I am able to invite two friends, If it's not too late for me to do so I'll be happy to hook you up with that. It is for PC, FYI. 🤔💯🎮📺🛹 I tried quite a while ago to play an early leaked copy of the playtest and only had a little bit of success. So excited to finally check it out! Although I do wish it wasn't free to play and etc etc.
