Ok so at 1:22 to 136, and 5:00 to 5:20 What is he doing?? Are those single, doubles, rudiments that he is putting around the kit?? And is there a tutorial for those licks/ chop ( i don't know the proper term I'm supposed to use here) i see alot of drummers do similar 'rolls' like that nd I've been trying to see how to do stuff like that. I understand it takes practice but i need to know what I'm practicing in order to do so.

A combo of doubles and singles. Various rudiments, to name a few that I caught.. six stroke, seven stroke rolls, paradiddles, some with displaced 16th note accents and some broken up with the kick. You can slow the video down to kinda get a better ear and eye for what he's doing. 🤷🏾‍♂️ he's a monster!!

Bryan Miller yeah man it is a bit much for some people’s liking. This song was actually arranged for Drums to be very busy. I actually helped arrange this song on two records that I played it on. Yes I’ve noticed that on records or CDs drumming is more simple and that’s the way I play records, but this is a live show and has a bit more than the actual record. If you go listen to this actual CD this was the only song I was busy on throughout the entire project.
