The woman that popped to the screen is called Kuchisake-Onna (Slit Mouth Woman) She was known to be wearing a large trench coat, simple clothes but wore a face mask and would ask a stranger who meets her, “Am I pretty?” And if you answer yes, she shows you her mouth and it’s slit in half, her jaw looking fallen out and bloody from the slit. And then she asks you once again, “Am I pretty now?” And if you say yes, she pulls out scissors and says she’ll make you ass pretty as she is, which she’ll cut your mouth in half. Saying no isn’t good cause she just kills you either way. But you can escape her by asking: “Am I pretty?” “What about me? Aren’t I pretty?” Or throwing candy at her, to give her something else than yourself as a sacrifice. That’s why I’m 1970 (from my memory of the myth) Kids who encounter her would be in pairs walking home so they don’t get encountered by her, or always holding candy if they meet her. That’s all I know other than Hachishaku-Sama (Six Foot Tall Woman/sorry for the bad spelling) Who was in the first game, she just wears a sun dress and a large hat, covering her face and basic makes thumping noises as heard as “Dom..Dom..Dom” Or just watches you, cursing you and the only way to be fixed of it is covering the walls in sacred paper, Buddha statue in the middle of the room and four bowls of salt. And you gotta be in there for the whole day and night until the salt turns black. That’s all the stuff I got, and I enjoyed the video too!!! There’s actually insane lore inside the mimic, both book 1 and book 2. So the dark demon girl (Sama) is control since she is controlling our ancestors because of the deal Kusonoki (our great grandfather) made to save her daughter but he got tricked which led to their entire descendants being cursed. Kusonoki fought 4 beasts created from the ancient God (Control, Jealousy, Rage, Rebirth, The different books in the game). Hiachi(the monster in the very first maze of chapter 1) freed the seal which Kusonoki put on Sama and she was now active. All the family members had interacted with Sama at one point like Kusonoki making the deal, Futaomote (The two white monsters in the Witch trials) making a deal to be a normal person,Kaito and Biwaki(MJ and the short girl in chapter 1) was consumed, Hiachi getting tricked to ripping off the seal, and our parents had an encounter with Sama at the parent teacher conference. Tell me if I missed something or got something wrong.
