The reason for the Tiger II having a bad overall winrate, I reckon, is that it is quite awful stock and one of the first Tier VIII tanks for a lot of players. Players that are still learning a lot about the game having a really bad stock experience leads to them not carrying many if any matches.

@@tominieminen66 Could be. But I think on higher tiers, people tend to not spam blind fire especially if the shell is expensive. Those who like blind firing usually have certain amount of confidence that there would be something (e.g. behind a bush), hence a more experienced players. Else they would be losing credit and wouldn't really able to play that much again later. And also it wouldn't really cause "dirty" data to affect the majority of results showed in the distribution graph. If such data do exist, probably WG internal have one, since this is important for them to see when to adjust certain tanks' RNG multipliers & parameters. Also this data could indirectly affect their business as well. Since who would've wanted to play a premium tank with terrible gun handling if they put a wrong parameters to be factored into the RNG. Yes. As you might already know, this gun handling 'RNG' people like to talk about, is adjustable. and only WG internal knows their values and of course they can set it OTA

I love my Grille. The problems are with the very long gun that becomes an issue because of the tank suspension. When you move the tank or when you try to stop and shoot, the Grille hull is swinging a lot. The hull is too bouncy in regard to the length of the gun. This is why you miss a lot of shots.

When the Grille came out, I loved it and was fine with it replacing the WT E100. I got my highest damage game in the Grille 15, I would play it on ridge lines popping up then back down with its speed. After the nerfs it just became more disappointing and the accuracy never seems like the 3rd most accurate tank in the game. Heck I even had the Improved Aiming device on it just due to how it felt.

i just finished grinding the fieldmods at the grille (I sacrifized DPM for getting more accuracy) and completly agree concerning the bad pen and shell velocity. I often thought why the hell cant this tank have 295mm pen at AP and 370 at HEAT or APCR, plus 900m/s shell velocity at HEAT is very poor for a sniper TD. But the Badger has even worse values, 272mm pen at AP and 320mm pen at APCR are even worse pen values than the grille has at standard and premium rounds

I've got the Grille down to 0.22 dispersion (Chocolate, Improved aiming, Parallax Adjustment and BiA) without having reached the Aiming Mechanism Tuning field mod which will decrease the aiming circle size another -5%. I should be able to get it down to 0.20, I think.

I was once in the OI. I maxed up concealment as far as I could go. At the start of the battle, I went about 40 metres before I was sniped and destroyed... in the first 15 seconds of the battle. I had barely left the base! That's spotting and accuracy for you!

@@misc1453 You can max the concealment as much as you want on a heavy tank, especially OI, but your camo value will not change much. In other words, do not put concealment in big tanks because it won't make any difference in their camo values. For more info, try the compare tab in game to see which tank profits the most from concealment. Don't expect an OI to be as invisible as an ELC.

The reason is because you are "sniping" with a sniper tank. No matter how accurate the gun is, its still really hard to hit shots far away. Thats why inaccurate guns that are played up close hit more than accurate guns that snipe people from far away.

I use improved aim on my Grille instead of rotation mechanism. Gun handling is always bad on this and the aim time isnt bad, you just gotta get used to it and always aim fully. 0.21 accuracy feels really good, too.

i always get sad when i see how the Grille 15 is like now, since in the german TD line both tanks are balanced out, for example the St Emil and the Jagdpanther, St emil has accuracy penetration and damage while jagdpanther has armor speed and dpm, perfectly balanced you would say but if you look at the Jagdpanzer E100 and the Grille 15 it’s quite obvious what tank is better.

Yes, the Grille 15 is super accurate. In theory. Having played it more for a while to raise its fieldmods, i can only say however that the "in THEORY" needs to be VERY emphasized. Because its tendency to hit anywhere except CENTER of aim is at an absurd level. Even just sitting out of sightrange and taking fully aimed perfect shots against large, immobile targets, it's amazing how often you miss with it. I haven't even broken 5k dmg in a game with it yet(ok, so still only 50ish games with it, but compared to other tanks, it sucks, especially considering i have a comparatively very high AVERAGE damage with the Grille 15). Because even in a good match, there's always a few shots that makes you wonder if your gun is bent.

The problem with the Grille is the relatively slow shell velocity, and the horrible, horrible soft stats. Your aim is totally ruined if you move the gun just a tiny bit, let alone the tank. You can totally forget fast snapshots. And the slow shells make it so that you often miss because you have to lead so much on moving targets, or the target moves out of the way or changes speed or direction before your shell can hit.

When they brought Awful Panther back, Wargaming for no apparent reason decided to nerf its top speed and power/weight compared to the old version. The new version also has far better penetration than the old one, but the DPM is nerfed into the ground. Honestly, I wish they'd used the Tier 8 version that also got tested (still sitting in the game files as the "Aufklärungspanzer V"), which kept 60 km/h top speed and had a ridiculous 1200 horsepower, 165 alpha, 221 pen, 2,020 DPM, and .30 accuracy. And the best thing about that version is that it didn't have gold ammo. Just standard APCR (that's similar to other Tier 8 light tanks' gold rounds) and HE.
