It’s incredible to me how popular Black Ops 2 became in memory. I was there when those trailers dropped. “Ewww futuristic garbage. RIP CoD!” And then it launched and all the KZbinrs were like “Worst CoD ever. It’s a one gun game, and it’s gonna die in a month”. I still remember all that, so watching people be so nostalgic for it is wild to me. I enjoyed it. It wasn’t mind-blowing for me, as I’ve been chasing that CoD 4 high since I was a kid, but I enjoyed it.

I understand why people were upset about how loud the footstep audio was in mw2 (2022) but I liked it. I hate how in a lot of these cods you can’t hear foot step audio at all even if you run awareness. And hot take here I hate dead silence in cod. Because it seems like dead silence mutes footstep audio when it should just decrease it by like 30 percent or something

The problem with loud footsteps is that it inadvertently buffs dead silence/ninja. If footstep audio was reasonable there would be less of a reason to run DS. And just nerfing DS without tuning down footstep audio leads to slow gameplay. Cold War did it right, footsteps without ninja were consistent, you could tell where someone was when they were close and you knew that they were in a general area when farther away. Even then ninja didn't completely kill audio, like you were saying, you could still hear someone when they were close to you.

Load footsteps stops players from pushing around the map because they get scared they'll get sound whored. Footsteps being too loud like in mwII 2022 just promotes sitting in corners like little gremlins

It's really interesting, I think IW is 99% wrong place at the wrong time as you said. I didn't play AW and the first half of BO3, and I had an awesome time on IW. I think it's the most fluid of the jetpack games, had the most friendly supply drop system, and the maps/guns/balance/etc was all solid. Not to mention a fantastic campaign and unique twist on zombies. It's incredibly overhated and people didn't give it a fair shot IMO just because of the jetpack burnout

I love the setting of Infinite Warfare tbh. The most distant future compared to other games, including Black Ops It’s the jetpacks that don’t appeal to me in terms of gameplay, and it’s obvious why the game was so hated - people got the absolute opposite of what they asked for. Maybe IW wouldn’t receive such negative feedback if it came out much later.

Glad to see Ghosts get a bit of redemption here. I always thought it was overhated. It has issues, but it's still pretty fun. I have a video idea: Ranking each game based on one life. You play TDM on each game, but you only give yourself one life, and however many kills you get in that life is that game's score. Then we can find out which game has the best score. No restrictions on class or anything, use whatever you want.

My first time playing call of duty was Black ops 1 I been playing it all of call of duty since I was 6 years old and now I am 19 years old and been playing it for 14 years ago and soon in next month on November 30th will be my 15 years playing it plus my 20th birthday. Think about celebrating my 15 years anniversary of Playing call of duty since day one. I played the shit out of cod mw3 this past year. It feels good and they constantly added new content which I liked. I complained that I hated most of the new maps on MWII. I was actually ok with being given classic maps that I already know and like. They gave us new maps frequently that were much better than MWII. I really hope BO6 adds in some maps from BO and BO2. BO probably had the best lineup of maps in my opinion, there was not a bad map on that game.

10:13 Infinite Warfare actually had a fantastic campaign though. As in one of the best. Better than MW2 (2022), MW3 (2023), DEFINITELY Vanguard, and Black Ops 3. Sucks that it came out at a crappy time so people ended up skipping it, not to mention it being bundled with COD4 remastered.

I honestly find modern warfare 2 the new one as a good game. Sure I don’t really care for some of the mechanics and the pacing is a little too fast. And the campers are the worst part. But I like it because of the gunplay, and a lot of other things. And for the fact that I can play as homelander. I only like his personality when he acts like a regular villain and I like his design. Homelander is one of my favorite villains.
