Tried it last night and it’s genuinely impossible to play casually, just not fun at all

I mean, that's essentially BO6 in a nutshell right now. If you're above average at all at COD, the strict SBMM matches you up against streamers and pros constantly. It's easily the sweatiest COD I've ever played. I've gone back to MWIII and been having a blast.

Play a puzzle game casually, or a story game, a good platformer-sidescroler game. Don't let them ruin the game for casually, that's how Battlefield got ruined. Some day we grow out of it, that's why I don't really play anymore, I just like watching Jack play. But if I were to play a shooter again one day, my first pick would be Insurgency. I get the best thrill in that game.

It wasn't even that good, just everyone was at home with loads of spare time to play and practice. Now people have jobs and lives again and play casually. Blackout was 10x better, loadouts ruin the game so much.

most of it is the people in general. a majority of the people want actively ruin what the game was. game started with fine audio, decisions mattered, most guns had viability. But people complained about the audio in the past (everytime its good people complain) Because they find out they suck when people can hear them coming . Meta was never really a thing (well it was but not to the point of each new gun being purposely broken to make more money) TTK should be as low as it was on warzone 2 drop.( sadly controller players al;l complained because they are not capable of reacting first. They need sec to respond to a gun fight even though they have aim assist thats fully broken) People do not like to look at the real reasons, but its mainly the controller players and the toxic community that ruined the game. Other fps dont have these problems, but to be fair the average controller cod player has no skills after leaving cod.

Call of Duty has one of the most toxic fanbases in the industry, unfortunately. It's a big reason I don't play as often anymore - people (whether it be kids or no lifers) take it WAY too seriously, or just straight up cheat. I skipped MWII and MWIII at launch, but just recently started playing MWIII because I can't stand the sweaty movement and exploits of BO6 - the maps are also some of the worst I've ever seen in the franchise. Plus, with most of the sweats in BO6, MWIII actually feels like classic COD - far more casual and less strict SBMM. Been quite a good time, despite its other issues. Also love the OG classic MW/MWII maps. Actually kind of pissed I skipped out on MWIII at launch as its genuinely been a fun experience and reminds me of the older stuff (other than the dumb skins).

Adapt their tactics perhaps? Or play stealthily? I've accepted both the sweats and cheaters as they are part of Warzone no matter what I do. You can change up how you play, that's how I don't get frustrated so often. I still play because I love the guns. Adapt or die, that's all there is to it but Warzone has always been like this, SBMM or not.

I'm a fortnite x warzone guy. Loved Verdansk and fort 1, 2 and 3. We are currently on WZ4 basically, or 3.5, and fortnite is on 5. Next week, fortnite chapter 6 comes BUT...also fornite OG map from 2017 as perma mode!!!!! A big BR map that will be ON simultaneously with the new fortnite 6 map. Fort is great now, but warzone...I fear for Verdansk coming back march 2025, cause bo6 will ruin it.

"Skill gap" is largely a meaningless, overused term that takes the place of "the game is more skilled when it's the way I prefer". If players were forced to get kills by sequentially shooting enemies in the left knee, left shoulder, right hand, head, then left hip, that would also be a form of "skill gap". Doesn't mean it makes for good, enjoyable gameplay.

@@WarriorVII I honestly thought the omni-movement was a good idea because it should put everyone on an even playing field. But what's happened is that the people who slide and bunny hop around corners have gotten better at it because now they have more tools at their disposal. I think what they really needed to do was remove jumping altogether. Keep dolphin diving and sliding, but replace jump with an automatic mantle when next to low objects or at the very least turn the jump button into a mantle button, so that people can't bunny hop everywhere. Sliding should have been made slower and give you a nerf to accuracy when doing it, whilst putting you on a cooldown so you can't spam it every two seconds. Diving should only be used as a last resort because it puts you at a disadvantage, you wouldn't spam it in a firefight like you would bunny hopping.

Not saying every single person out there is doing it for the same reason, but YY gamers are identified as cheaters by default. No reason to do that, and there is a speed hack that's known to be activated by YY. You can often see your favorite streamer's character slow down and go at unnatural speeds when they YY. Some of them have it set to activate when they sprint so they don't have to push the button.

On the audio settings choose the "TREYARCH" option. And paying 20$ for normal audio is bullshit. You are clearly uninformed, using apps for personal audio settings have been used for years now by streamers. In this case its an official partnership with Activision advertising the audio company.
