good old 1.0 days, I remember playing that with a couple of friends and then when 1.1 came and introduced hardmod new bosses and a "final" boss for now, oh my god we were soo excited, back in the good old days where to craft the hallowed armor you would need all the pre-hardmode armor sets, ahhh nostalgia

From what I remember back in the day, the Jungle was a post Eye and Worm area. As you'd want demoniate armour to have enough survivability for there. Then you would get the jungle gear to be ready for the Dungeon. And then you would head down to hell.

Half blocks and being able to step up were a Godsend when the first (And last) major update hit. I remember it taking a lot of materials to craft things- I did not remember the chains though! I navigated my old worlds by following the trail of torches XD. I still have my OG Terraria map and the newer game can't tell what size it is so it says "unknown". Probably the best feature of OG Terraria that you didn't really mention much: NO TRAPS.

I remember when i first learned about terraria. My friend was staying over anf he had it on his phone, this was like 10 years ago, so we would've been 8/9. Ever since then, i always wanted to play it but couldnt, since my parents didn't want to buy it for me, so i had to wait till i could buy it myself. Still one of my all time favourites.

I bought terraria after 1.4.4's release, yet a primal urge is giving me nostalgia playing this. Maybe thats because i played scratch version of terraria which was in 1.0.3 Also i realised how many absolutely awesome changes reLogic has done since then, not to make the game more challenging, but to make it more fun.

May not have found as many arrows lying around. But at least you could pick the ones you already fired back up some of the time. King Slime IS in this version. But the only way to summon it, is to hang out near the oceans where slimes can spawn. Took me something like 7-10 in-game days to get him to show up when I was ready for him. He HAD showed up once, when I was still in copper armor with no good accessories, but that one ended about as well as you'd expect. There was a magic mirror. It was rare, but interestingly, it used mana.

Yeah, cheesing the jungle to grind out materials for the thorn chakram was one of the sketchiest and biggest turning points in oldschool difficulty haha

when i started my journey in terraria, i just moved out from my mothers house and got into my appartement due to renovations, internet wasnt avaiable for 2 months. So i started on base terraria aka v.1.0 also the laptop i used back then was so incapable of running ANYTHING, i fought every boss in terraria in slow motion. but MAN i had a blast xD

Yeah, jungle was meant to be after grinding corruption bosses. With dungeon being after that. Now, technically, the dungeon is (strictly speaking) an optional place with an optional boss. Although missing out on the optional items hurts

I first played Terraria on mobile, and it was more recent than this version but still pretty old. I sucked at the game though, and the only difference I can remember at this point was that magic mirrors used one star of mana. I was surprised when it didn't when I got back into the game after watching your videos.

I cant remember exactly when I started playing but I think it was just before mechanical bosses were added in. I actually haven't played normal terraria in a while. Might boot it up again though next time they release a "final update".

The creators of the game pronounce it Te-rare-ia, which I think is the same as your first one. Supposedly pronounced similarly to "Terrarium." I just think it doesn't sound right...so I say...the creators are wrong, lol

bruh -_- I have 1 world where i beat moon lord on classic mode: my nintendo world called 'Diamond f' f for fishing. It was gonna be a only fishing world, but it was too hard because i couldn't even chop trees, so instead it was a mainly only fishing world. And here's the important part: i always have to scroll on nintendo switch and it's even slower 🤣 (At least i have 3 crafting things in a line at once)

I was a Minecraft kid aswell and I am new to Terraria I came to Terraria in 1.3. And everything in this game in 1.0 just screams Terraria was really inspired by Minecraft like how the game developers have admitted. How wood is mined by axe, how cactus hurt you stuff like that probably came from Minecraft.
