Jeramy when you start to get into spraying you can buy fungicides, insecticides and herbicides from AG dealers it is the same chemical we golf course owners buy. Keystone pest solution, Chemical Warehouse are 2 I buy from. Keystone has a product called Previcur for pythium it cost 230 for a 2,5 gallon jug that same jug is 1100 bucks on the golf side. So check out the AG suppliers, Chemical Warehouse has Azoxystrobin (Heritage) cheap. You will be spraying for crabgrass soon you will need some Prodiamine which will kill poa, so don''t use that on greens, use Dimension on greens that will get sprayed mid April at a half rate and then mid May.

All the courses were very expensive, but still cheaper than bellying up to the roulette table for 4 hours.

Agree Wolf Creek is a must play. But it is a bit "mickey mouse". I don't regret paying the money to play there it is truly visually stunning. But i would check out some other courses in the Mesquite/St. George area before playing it again. Sand Hollow in St. George, Falcon Ridge, Conestoga and Coyote Springs about 30 min outside Mesquite are all awesome courses as well.
@SpudRunGolf Жыл бұрын
I’m with ya. I’ve heard of Conestoga but not the others you mention.
@somguy503510 ай бұрын
Yea Conestoga is great Like to drive out and play that, stay at the Casablanca resort, then play Wolf Creek in the morning and drive back to LV The restaurant at Casablanca is surprisingly good

I feel sense Covid pace of plays has gotten slower every year. You play the hole in 8/10 minutes and wait 15/20 pain ful

I've played all 3. You can't go wrong with any of the courses at Paiute, and Wolf Creek is a classic. Bali Hai, on the other hand, is the most I've ever paid to play a terrible golf course. There's nothing good about it except the location. Don't waste your time.
