Realistically I have no idea how people marathon this game.... maybe platoons? Going solo i just burn out, keep trying to finish personal missions, they are all selfish and crappy (having to cap the base for example), I can't justify playing t9 spgs anymore because I simply can't help as much as I used to... Used to be something people actually had to consider in games, also made the scouts feel more useful, so many LTs just getting furious that they get in a good place to spot and nothing happens... Now my he bounces off of medium tanks, I am finding less and less reason to play non-Russian tanks, not having premium is miserable, even when I am playing premium t8 tanks, if I get in a bottom tier matchup, I don't make a profit if the games go long. Maybe I just made a mistake by playing with a premium account for so long when I first started out.

I'm not saying stop for 7 years, but you know. Games are meant to be fun and give you good experiences, and I feel bad that you are not enjoying the game. Remember there are many other games and non-gaming activities you can try out meanwhile.

It's not awful though, sure it's not as fun without the good HE. The HEAT can still work well and with intuition it's easy to switch now. I find myself using the HEAT more and more now. It's still my most played tank.

You're very experienced at the game in general. You aren't a newbie climbing up either a sparkly new tree or the "newb" friendly tree. You also understand the strengths and weaknesses of the tanks. This all together probably helps offset the poor performance of a lot of the "worst" tanks.

yet he is still not good at the game compared to other players QB is just entertaining i learned tank knowledge from him. so weakspots, tank stats, how to counter them (unless you are trying to shoot at a Type 5 with 230mm pen or smh) so if you want to learn how to get better at the game by learning strong positions and everything else, QB’s channel isnt the best, lets just say that since he is sometimes way too aggressive and dies within 2 minutes

The problem by Judging tanks by Win % as often really good tanks have poor win % either due to poor preforming players using the vehicle or Win % can be artificially influenced by Poor Stock Grinds plenty of tanks that I see with Sub 50% avg Win Rate are incredibly Strong , Though in some cases their are outliers for vehicles which haven't really been touched for years so are out of date in the current Meta ect or just genuinely bad. Though with that being said their is more to WR when judging if a tank is genuinely bad

No metric is perfect but WR is likely the most reliable and consistent, and at least partially normalizes the other variables. I also think that tanks with higher WR attract lesser skilled players hoping to benefit from OP characteristics, so if anything it's the higher WR tanks that should have even higher WR than they do.

You are definitely right about Stock Grinds. They are definitely a big part of my poor WR as a player. I'm mostly free to play, and tanks like the V39 are terrible until you are completely upgraded. So now I need to play nearly as many games in the fully champed out vehicle to recover WR, but usually I just want to be done with the bloody thing and move on the next Stock Grind.

Exactly. I think the yoh tank has a bad win ratio due to being pretty bad stock. Just like the Sheridan some people might play the worse gun just because they like better alpha. You are correct sir.

My problem with the T49 is my problem with many of the LTs. The wheelies and Bourassaques may not have as much view range, but pure speed of deployment means you are not spotting (at least early on). So now you are trying to play your LT more like an MT with even less armor. I do like the MM changes in 1.18 where they are going to try to limit wheelies.

The new US heavies aren’t special but I think the win rate being so bad is due to people grinding. The 704 has been left in the dust. The armor used to be good enough to brawl but not anymore and the gun handling is not good enough to reliably snipe.

It's painful to see how far the BL-10 has fallen. When the ISU-152 had that gun it was one of the most feared weapons in WoT. Having a tier 8 that could smash through the front of tier 10 heavies and remove half their health in a single shot was a pure dopamine rush.

IMO, the thing about the M-VI-Y is that a lot of people simply run through it until T10 - and have trash crews/don't give it a chance. It's very good if you play it like it will get shot the second it shows anything other than the turret.

T49 has its moments sometimes, but 4/5 battles you will probably rage quit because the shots either do barely any dmg, hit a track, not hit the armor or be absorbed. It is just frustrating, especially if u are like one of the last tanks and have to fight tanks like maus, the heat cannot pen anywhere and HE will do barely 100 dmg.

If I'm gonna play the T49 with the 90mm gun, I might as well pick another light tank that has a better platform and is more nimble. Not to brag, but you CAN be useful to your team even with the 152mm gun. I'm at 1000 games in the T49, 59% winrate. I have more than 500m view range. I see the derp as a bonus honestly.

I've been playing older tanks recently, and by god, they've got so bad compared to newer ones it's painful. Grinding through the 430 II and holy hell it's rough. Regarding the RAM and crashes, have you looked into updating your motherboard BIOS? I upgraded my RAM recently, and was getting random crashes in various games. After checking other things (temps, drivers, etc.) I looked into what BIOS updates were available, and there were a couple that listed improved RAM compatibility. I still had the original release BIOS installed, so I updated to the newest one, and voila. No more crashing. Might be worth looking into.

I remember when WG released the tier 8 light tanks for the first time. I saw the t49 gleaming in glory and grinded my way up to get it. I have definitely had the most fun in any light tank in my t49 and with RNG on your side, it isn’t a bad choice still today. 900+ damage hits on lightly armored tanks are pretty entertaining still lol

Actually I would prefer the BC 25t over the Char Futur 4 because of its much better intra-clip reload. 4s are just way too long. At that point you might as well play sth with a single-shot gun.

@@KawaiiFemBoi The thing is that howitzers in WoT were specifically balanced to be inaccurate AF because you'd have the advantage of splashing tanks even if you don't carefully aim your gun for 5 seconds to try to hit the side of a barn. Now, I'm all for aiming every shot, and I do that more than ever with the HE rounds to get the maximum damage, and always look for penetrating shots in my T49. BUT now you have to aim for weak plates or even weak spots with the SAME old inaccurate howitzers, which is a huge nerf without any compensation. Yes, I think they did some MINOR buffs to the accuracy of SOME howitzers, but it's nowhere near enough. *Not complaining though* , just stating how things currently are. I'm still playing the T49 (1000 battles with 59% winrate), but the HE shells are way less reliable right now. I probably switch the ammunition types using that nice intuition chime *DING* 50 times a game lol. There are so many situations where you simply can't risk to shoot your HE even at perfectly flat and weak armor and prefer to go for the safe 700 dmg HEAT instead. I remember at least 3 individual times where I saw the message "screen not penetrated" while shooting at the flat side of an ELC EVEN 90, swearing to God that I hit the armor and not some spaced armor or tracks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ EDIT: But screw the old Type 4 and 5 with the pre-nerfed howitzers. Those were just disgusting and as a heavy I'd simply avoid the flank they're on lol.

20:00 Dude, the VII tier SU-122-44 has 15mm thicker front armor than the Obj 704. And from what I can remember back in 2012, the 704 was always armored only around the mantlet. The no-more-existing SU-122-54 had much more dangerous armor.

For memory issues QB, I run 3200MHz sticks, but on my config (not expensive kit) I must run it on 2400MHz, otherwise I am plagued with random shutdowns. Does not matter if memory is overclocked or not, just lower BIOS setting a bit and should regain stability without loosing much of noticable performance. grat video again. Thanks

QB - When you ask the audience (in a puzzled manner) why you seem to do well in tanks that are statistically performing badly, you modestly say ‘it’s luck.’ You’re a classy individual, and that’s kind, but that’s not the case. Your personal skill at the game is the determining factor. Good players can make do with subpar tanks. If you look at the individual tank stats of a great player, ALL of their tanks (maybe with the exception of SPGs and a few LT) tend to show similar win rates. Personal skill is the primary factor, bar none.

I agree with you on Assault mode maps. The only problem is the rest of your team. I often call out the map style (Assault, Encounter), but it seldom matters. I'm not a great player, but when it's an Assault map and we're defending, it would help if players didn't treat it like a random battle on certain maps pushing for a flag that's not there.

Regarding the vehicles driven: M-VI-YOH: Pretty disappointing for a very recent tech tree, but the gun quality and cupolas look pretty rough on that tank B-C AP: A true stinker at t9, basically the 50 100 but smaller and 1 tier higher, one of my least favorite t9 tanks in the game Object 704: My most driven and all-time favorite tank in WoT ever since 2013. Glad to see the BL-10 and armor still holding pretty well even in today's meta. 😁 T49: Since they screwed HE rounds on that one particular update, this thing has definitely been left in the dust, because the 152mm is really why you grinded these light tanks, while the 90mm is super basic. i like the Assault game mode as well. but there are too many maps that arent built for defending a position, so most of the time you have to sit out in the open or theres a giant hill blocking vision to the cap point. some maps should be rebalanced for assault mode or they should have variations of the map that get chosen for different modes. just my idea.

Skin oil can cause degradation to the contacts on the RAM; but I wouldn't expect to see any noticeable effect on the RAM in such a short period of time. Computers are designed to survive static electricity and have come a long ways in this regard in recent years. I wouldn't even worry about static electricity effecting RAM. Also, I really doubt he bought "overclocked RAM". You can get high frequency RAM, but unless you go above the factory rating you're not "overclocking". My guess, if it really is a RAM issue, he should check the RAM timing or check for a firmware update.

I did not enjoy 704 this days. Every vehicle is just too fast to keep up with 704 aim time and treverse speed (especialy ebrs ofc). Gun likes to miss most of not fully aimed shoots. Your armour sometimes bounces, but you can't rely on it. It's not front line vehicle, it's not the best sniper/support vehicle. Nova days I've been grinding fosh lane, and tier 9 is similiar to 704. It looks like there are a lot of td's where theire purpose is just unknown. Conway is another example. It should be a sniper but it is so BIG that you can't realy sit in the bushes.

I personally always thought the ISU-152 when it had the BL-10 was just a better tank than the 704. The ISU was significantly faster, going at 43kph instead of 37kph, meaning you could get to the nice camping spots these tank destroyers want to be in. But most of all, having the BL-10 at tier 8 instead of tier 9 just felt so much more significant. But frankly the ISU-152 and Object 704 have been completely replaced by the WZ-111G FT.

Perhaps the reason why they are the "worst" tanks in higher tiers is that they have the highest skill caps? Better players like QB can use them better than the average ones, and thus AN is an asset to the team rather than dragging it down.

i absolutely still love the t49, since if you're skilled enough in it you can do some insane things, pen krans in the side, pen t95 in rear, pen e100 and 277 and most other heavies in their engine deck (i did it to e100 and 277 once) best map for t49 is glacier imo due to being able to shoot down on heavies

Something I noticed in these videos is that the camera doesnt move with the tanks body roll when moving forwards and backwards in sniper mode. Is this a setting or mod i need to look at?

For your issues of pc check if ram is same frequency as the motherboard, check if the ram works properly, if your CPU runs properly and if all work properly you might have to change the Motherboard cause it might be damaged and u can t see it sometimes

Qb have u defragment or trim your drive (depending if its ssd or hdd)? It can also affect crashes. Prob its not the case since usually windows does it automatically but if u have a maintenance software to do it its always better. Usually its just random hangs that crashes the game, event logs will tell u more about it. Sometimes its just the game

Obj 704 isn't what she used to be, however, it's more manageable when you mount a rotation mechanism and an improved aiming device on it. If you have fond memories of it from earlier iterations of WoT, I recommend the Chinese Tier 9 TD, it has troll armor, and HEAT premium ammo.

Oh god... I just got the Tier 10 Chinese TD and that Tier 9 made me want to rip my hair out. No one fires normal ammo anymore so that thing is just paper. Sometimes worse than a 4005. I can't even begin to say how many times I hid behind rubble or some bushes and some twat in a 90 spots me than I'm suddenly back in the garage. Not even to mention the non centered gun. So glad I'm done with that line.

@@pickell12 if you didn't like the 9 you're going to hate the 10. Personally, I like the 9. I don't push with it, instead protecting the lower plate you can delivering massive damage with the HEAT or 100mm pen HE from range while shrugging off most AT rounds.

@@JonathanHStone I got the 10 just to get my goal of every 10 in the game, it's meh. I just lost credits constantly but spamming heat and being behind the heavies in the towns and what not, It worked till I had to move and I got massacred
