Afros first mistake was randomizing a game he's never beaten. His second mistake was rushing past 4 enemies all at once. Never rush more than 1 enemy in D's 1 period

Got Gwyn the Final Frickin Boss as his Asylum demon, a Darkwraith as his first actual opponent, Afro really got shanked by the game. At least the second round was an early game boss... DS2 departs the most from the DS games, and is also the most ambitious. Thing is, with how old it is, there's some glitches and mechanics that will probably make you rage quit.

9:58 Yeah, there is no powerstance in DS1, that's a DS2 thing and bleed isn't close to broken as Elden Ring. I say this about DS2, I love it more than all the souls games(Elden ring included) but it is the worst out of them all, here is 1 example. 1. Your i frames are tied to your Adaptability stat so alot of attacks that you would normally roll through will catch you. I forgot how high you have to rank up that stat to get to normal dark souls i frames(i think it was 30).

The problem with running a randomizer before playing normally is you have no idea where anything is, you don't know which enemies are worth fighting or where the bonfires are, that adds 10x the dificulty.

End-game boss as the tutorial boss XD Baby steps, Afro, beating ER doesn't make you a Souls vet, it just means you beat ER. It was very entertaining though, Dark Souls 1 is still my favorite in the entire franchise. There is fun to be had in Dark Souls 2... but you DO have to find it. For example, you'll have to accept that if you're using a great weapon, a lock-on is more of a suggestion that the game might just ignore randomly.
