@@midnightzgamer20k To be fair, while support players don't have it as bad as dps players when it comes to misleading stats, you can't just look at stats to determine if somebody is doing well. This is like a Soldier saying he's doing his job because he has 20k+ damage, but it all came from shooting the Orisa that was getting healed. Similarly, supports can easily rack up 10k+ from sticking themselves to the back of a tank. If a lot of your dps teammates are complaining that they aren't getting enough healing, it's possible that you might actually not be healing them enough, especially if the enemy team has a dps that's being pocketed. The difference between a dps and a dps with a pocket is massive, and just having high healing stats doesn't disprove that a support is doing a poor job, same way a dps having high damage numbers doesn't disprove that they're doing a poor job.

True that that was not a serious Moira game though and I'm sure he's better than what we saw. You know you can use the healing orbs too, right? The healing orb does more healing than the damage orb does damage. The damage orb is mostly useful for when you have a group of weak enemies mostly. Edit: Also, im a Moira main and ive NEVER ran out of healing spray. EVER. Im just extremely careful and i keep it for urgent situations and even then, you dont have to use it all at once. Your allies will heal overtime for a few seconds after you spray them, no need to use the entirety of the healing spray.

@@i7460 flanking will not confirm anything against good players.I had a moira doing that to me earlier when I was duo’d with my other support friend,I kept landing sleeps and killing her or we would both just heal eachother to tank her damage and then turn on her and she died 80% of the time when she did that type of playstyle.DPS moira is only good at lower ranks and maybe killing off a 1hp target who’s fleeing but even then other supports do it just as good if not better and even have utility in their kit. The way I look at moira is she just has Great AoE healing and meh single target healing.The ult is definitely great though at cleave healing

Its rather unfortunate that during ow1 when role queue time for dps was so long that some dps started playing moira and she has never really lost that imfamy of playstyle. Also alot of people dont really understand that to max her potentially you need to damage and heal. Flanking works so long as you go for the right targets (snipers of you are confident at dodging and enemy supports) and balencing it with returning to team when needed. She does need some tweaks since she has no utility so im excited to see what they do for her in the upcoming change. (And yeah her ult is less a kill move more of a "scale tipper" which heals up your team and changes the outcome of a fight)

its because shes the best character. She can heal, she can do damage at the same time that is comperable to most crappy DPS, she can win a 1v1 against 80% of the roster. She has an escape that is super useful in lower ranks (and higher ranks as long as you use it well) and when your DPS is failing to backline she can takeover and do just as well, if not better.

They need to rework this character it’s so annoying that people think that DPS Moira is ok. Change her gun remove the stupid damage orb. If her gun wasn’t so noob friendly people wouldn’t do this stupid shit. Give it an actual beam or something that you have to aim bcz it has auto aim. No amount of “um actually” 🤓 can convince me it’s too forgiving. Make it a normal Beam that deals solid damage then she would be fine she would have good damage with her gun and would throw out healing orbs. Not likely. Assuming that Blizzard is balancing from the top down, which they haven't been with Sojourn but I digress, Moira's damage isn't very threatening. This DPS Moira trend is only popular because unskilled players lean on the damage beam target-locking as a crutch. Kiriko, Zen, Lucio, and Ana to some extent are more threatening in a 1v1 than a feeding Moira that dies to anyone looking in her direction when they hear those clicky shoes.
