My wife divorced me in 2020 after 13 years of marriage and then I was saved a year later. I’ve been alone ever since the divorce and at 45 years old it’s still really hard to realize that I’ll be alone the rest of my life or until the Lord comes to get us. I still pray that my ex-wife will be saved and come back to me but it’s probably not likely. But God is a miracle worker. I’m not someone that any other woman would want to marry anyway but even if I was what I read in the Bible is that remarriage is only allowed by God if a spouse dies. I have to above all else be obedient to God and I have to trust Him. It’s been very difficult after being happily married for so many years to now be living all alone with no hope on Earth at all but I know the Lord is leaving me like this for a reason. My only real hope is heaven - and I know that’s where I’m going. God is helping those of us who belong to Him.

It may not mean re-marrying is a sin for you depending on the reason your wife divorced. Example, if immortality (adultery)played a role on either behalf that changes everything. Deep understanding in scripture along with reliable, trustworthy, GOD Bible standing men/women of God who are more knowledgeable in explaining this very issue I would suggest. I’m learning as well.

Whenever I am about to do wrong the holy spirit tells me not to do it. My flesh is weak and wants to do wrong. It is a battle and after times when I do wrong right away my flesh is weak. My eyes are opened and I realize I pleased the flesh instead of Christ. Every time I do it my eyes are opened to what I did wrong, and wished I never did it. I’ve been alone for almost three years since my wife of 13 years divorced me. We were both lost atheists. At 45 years old now it’s been really tough to keep on living. Glory to God I was saved a year after the divorce - in the spring of 2021. The Lord has changed me so much since then but I still really struggle with having no wife anymore and no real hope of either reconciling with her or ever being with anyone else. And our kids live with her and I only see them a few days a month now. I’m trying to live in obedience to God and praying that He will help me. Life is very hard for me like this. I would love to be married again but I have to trust in God always.

Keep building your relationship and walk with God, reading his word and make time to pray and learn to fast. The Lord promises to give us the desires of our hearts, if it’s his will. Continue to pray about seeing your kids more. It will get better, keep in mind nothing happens over night, but the Lord will see you through it.

I believe in the miraculous birth of Jesus and sanctity of his mother Mary. I believe that he spoke while still in the cradle to protect his mother against the claims of the disbelievers. I believe that he healed the blind and the leper and that he brought back the dead. I believe them because my religion tells me they were true. It also tells me that I need to believe in him as I should in all other prophets. I guess despite all the similarities, this is the largest point of contention between our two faiths and it’s the fact that I believe him to be a man whom the one true god had bestowed upon with the Holy Spirit, while you believe him to be all three. Nevertheless, I think it’s more fruitful for us to put this difference aside and focus on the many things we have in common like the righteous morals set by the patriarchs of our religions for us to follow, to lead humanity out of darkness and into the light. The only way to push back is to unite because we both have the same enemy, which are the communist atheistic ideals which promote degradation of the conservative morals of our societies for a degenerated and perverted ones.

I will say that adultery was my fall before I was saved, it was my absolute weakness. Now that I am baptized and saved, I have changed, now, yes, that does not take me out of temptation, I still get tempted however, what I can say is hallelujah I have been fighting and in this will I be confident! @@drummerboy69n Absolutely, now, there is a difference, Satan modifies the original purpose that God intends for such things like yes, it being involved in marriage, it's spiritual, for a marriage, it declares that marriage, becoming one flesh. However, when Satan modifies and inverts such things, that is when we see it become outward adultery like pornography, lusting after others, lacking self control, etc. Surely God told us to be fruitful and multiply of course, but it was for His will, His purpose, His intentions are much greater than Satan's, it is when we take Satan's version or our own wanted version and invert God's will that it isn't correct. I used to be one who took God's will of being fruitful and multiplying and inverted it because of the deception Satan had placed in my heart, therefore at the time my flesh grew an addiction to such filth and behavior, that's the difference. I say I do make mistakes from time to time as we all fall short, but I can say that I am nowhere near the individual I used to be, that does not take me out of temptation but it most definitely gives me power and strength over my enemies and what they might use against me. What I pray for regarding this, is I pray for strength to not give into temptation when I am faced with it, I pray constantly for repentance and a change of heart.

I have been married and divorced 2x, and have lived a life where I was living with women for a short time a few times after those divorces, and things never felt right. I never realized how 2 flesh become 1 and how it affected the spirit until not very long ago when I decided to finally delve into the Bible and learn the word of God. I watched some videos and then reading things to verify it, I was blown away! I felt horrible and struggle with sexual desire often as a single man. I haven't been with a woman in many years now and the last one I was with actually wanted to get back with me several years ago, and I had to tell her I would rather not, because how it made me feel and I was not ready to get married again. Now I know why and feel so ashamed! While I have turned to Jesus and asked for forgiveness, life is not easy as a single man past the age of 40 when there is these ongoing sexual desires. I am trying to walk in the spirit and keep asking God every day to help give me spiritual strength, to strengthen my mind and my ability to overcome temptation. If anyone of you are willing to keep me in your prayers to grant me the strength to endure to walk in the spirit, I would truly appreciate it. I have learned so much after starting my journey into learning the Bible which started a few months ago, and have learned and felt so much since then! I am working hard to have a true personal relationship with Christ, and know that his atonement, his innocent blood was shed for my sins, and I have to fully trust and believe in Him to gain eternal salvation. I sometimes wonder if it's enough, but then remember that self doubt, fear, worries are things that Satan wants us to feel, and I have to remember that Jesus has already paid my sin debt, if I truly accept Him. God Bless anyone who is also struggling, and I will keep all in my prayers who struggle. I truly hope to meet all of you in Heaven in fellow worship to our Lord and Savior, as we give Him all the glory and praise for all that he has done for us.

Ive found over the years of dealing with this ,that praying in the spirit helps me overcome this very powerful desire. Even though the desire within me rises frequently, i just start praying in the spirit and the desire just slowly fades away. The bible says " The spirit lusts against the flesh". And " The spirit helps us in our weaknesses because we don't know what we should pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself prays for us with words that we dont know.....because He makes intercession for us according to God's will ..... and we know that this works good to us who loves God.
