Yea very good, I also really like the stone walling from brushwood toys. Also a main shed and a silage pit would be good for buildings, maybe a grain silo. For machinery, I'd get the NC dump trailer from Britain's and some universal hobbies models.

Cool idea for a video series.

The Yard in the middle at the top and than a short piece of farmtrac to the open road, let the farmtrac cross that road to a field, I think that would look good

This yard would be useful for RC mondays
@Massey-ze3ln6 жыл бұрын
I think in the yard you should use brushwood pro build sheds because they are fully customisable and look very realistic with a British theme.

@TheHomeOfEverythingSimulation6 жыл бұрын
You could do all this yourself by looking for similar hobby train materials like grass, dirt, coal, gravel whatever you need, all you need to do is put a thick layer of the same colour paint eg green on the board and than sprinkle the grass over the top to make it stick and also and so you can't see the board underneath etc....You could somehow make your own hedges too, maybe a piece of foam and paint it green as above and sprinkle the grass on it.... Just look around for realistic hobby scenery ideas etc

Daggerwin, I'm a modeller and I would personally recommend you use scenic scatter material. Will give you the ability to blend edges and also put in bushes etc. Feel free to message me and will give you some recommendations.

If you could find some thing like an old Fergy in that scale and remove the front axle and rust it up nice with some glued on pepper and dryed tea bags it would look nice sitting in a hedge some were abandoned left to rot.
@owenmurphy10166 жыл бұрын
If you line the edges of the roads and the track with Static grass it would look very nice you can buy mats of static grass ready to go on the display or you can make the tufts yourself

Dagger buy some cows and a small shed for them. I used to make model farms. And when you are making hay cut some grass and let it dry for a few days in a hot room or something and it should turn yellow like hay plus it's FREE

Looks cool! Like the new JD, I may get more into 32 scale. The farm is similar to 1/64 model farms!
@Lukas2811.6 жыл бұрын
Its not like a detail you can add now but when you have the fields done and the other things layers down then try to print some pictures so it's like a big flat white wall. So like when the fields are up against the wall then find a picture with a field on it and try to match it with the field on the model

That 3650 John Deere my dads got at his dairy to compact the silage for the cows
@Ryan-bu3bg6 жыл бұрын
These can look so much better if you buy becons and cb areals and stuff and use super glue to mount them, on the 3650 use a sharp knife and cut arround the sunroof and mount it up so its open and it looks so much better, same with windows

I find it very hard to create a whole farm lay out from scratch, tried and tried and tried didn’t like it family and friends said it was amazing but it just didn’t push any of my buttons, have a look at the video with the picture of my red setter/Alsatian and pit bull, Dixie and Tyson, preferably turn the sound off there’s a lot of information some people might not want to hear but some of it is useful especially when I go around the side of my house to show my farm that takes up the whole grass patch, I put a lot of much and sod down then just started cutting into it to get real elevation and real muck to work with, hard to get real miniature plants though haha

Daggerwin watch one of the model makers KZbin channels terrain tutor or something. Shows you how to make hedges etc with cheap materials. Are you going to muddy the tractors up too? Would look great if you do. I have plans of doing this to but a smaller scale like ho scale
@minibenbow82166 жыл бұрын
If your looking for a cheaper alternative for the hedge then siku used to put two pieces of solid hedge in a pack with the spearhead hedge cutter they might sell it separately
@harveygiles22352 жыл бұрын
