In the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime, there existed only 4 Blue-eyes white dragon. Seto Kaiba owned 3 of them, but Yugi's grandpa had the 4th. Seto Kaiba went to the shop to try and putchase it from him, and when Yugi's grandpa refused, he stole it, then tore it in half so it could never be used. In later seasons, it's revealed that an old friend of Yugi's grandpa gave him the Blue eyes that Seto saught, in a final game they had in an Egyptian tomb.

I always found the anime lore of Blue-Eyes being so rare hillarious in contrast to it being one of the most common cards in the game with like 8 different art works IRL.

Also, it is an MTG reference, because in YGO you can only have 3 of the same card in a deck, where Standard Magic is 4, so the reason why the company that Pegasus made only 4 Blue-Eyes makes no sense from a game Mechanic Standpoint.

4:17 Sorry, but that’s illegal! Game Trail is not a Forest, and Utopia Sprawl is very picky about what lands it attaches to. It won’t affect the game at all I’m sure, but it is a note to remember for the future!

Finally, a new episode! Looking forward to the shenanigans and hijinks. Which I'm grateful for, since I've just recently built 3 different decks: 1) Marisi, Breaker of the Coil Pacifism-goad 2) Issin, Two Heavens As One Max Attack Tapdown Triggers 3) Tajic, Legion's Edge Maximum Damage (no, I'm not joking, I made Boros Burn)

Zeb would have been able to steal every creature with power less than the number the islands he controls. It works like with merieke and rubinia. Basically you put the activated ability repeatedly on the stack targeting each creature and don't let it resolve. After you target the last creature you leave the shackles tapped. When the triggers resolve all the creature get stolen and the ability doesn't care about the untapping in between. If you untap the shackles after that you lose control over all the creatures.

Infinitokens are great! Ordered the card sized ones a couple of years ago and recently the coin sized. Love em! Had to pay a pretty penny to ship the first ones but nowadays shipping to Europe is pretty cheap

If you have Vedalken Shackles + Dramatic Reversal on Isochron Sceptre.. Can't you just infinitely use the Vedalken Shackles and steal all enemy creatures?

The creature is returned when the shackles are untapped, and Dramatic Reversal untaps all permanents. So you can momentarily borrow all enemy creatures, given enough islands as noted by the other responder.

@17:11, with a name like Gauntlet, I dont think it minds skipping dinner lol. Like you get your hands dirty. You go through the gauntlet. Gauntlets take a literally beating. It is used to being handled. And being made from cold metal, it probably will not feel anything.

Seto Kaiba is from Yu-Gi-Oh anime/card game Eilidh and Olivia :). Not sure if Olivia's deck is cEDH or just casual, but since it is Atraxa squirrels, is she running Ivy Lane Denizen/Scurry Oak or Earthcraft/Squirrel Nest (which made an appearance) infinite squirrels? Also love your Maelstrom Wanderer/Animar deck Eilidh so much Temur shenans in there I bet :)

Why doesn't holding priority with the "island gauntlet stealer" work? Add the effect to the stack, untap the gauntlet, add another effect, untap the gauntlet etc. Then at the end, leave the gauntlet tapped and then each effect would considers the gauntlet tapped as the effects are only being followed without seeing the untapping happen.

Fun Fact: At 11:00, Olivia, you could have taken Both creatures as Snow is in fact a supertype that, although not listed directly on Atraxa herself, can be declared as a type for you to choose. I doubt this changes much in the way of the game, but both Snow and Tribal are types that can be utilized this way.
