Great info in the video, hard to visualize with vintage gear tho :(. I would highly recommend even the cheapest modern PC based Logic Analyzer, even something as ghetto like $1 (with free shipping) "WeAct USB Logic Analyzer DLA Mini 24Mhz 8ch Channels Hardware Debug Tool 5V MCU ARM FPGA Debugger" aka a Chinese clone of Saleae Logic using Chinese Corebai CBM9002A clone of Cypress FX2 chip :]
