I used to be like that. I've gotten much better results by playing more "freely" than how I used to. Makes you more unpredictable as well. I mean if you're going for slight sair for the 4th time you're going to get punished.

For me, I just throw out a random attack and see how my opponent reacts to it and if he does the same thing I think he'll do I go for a specific dodge/jump read. It's honestly just purely on guesses or just baiting an attack and hope you can punish them. Though you can't always do the same attack so you have to remember to mix it up but not make it too obvious.

@I see A lemon actually im not passive at all and im diamond, something u will probably never be. pros obviously play more agressive when u actually play against them in ranked or something because they are making content and are trying to be entertaining. stingray is better at the game then ur ever gonna be, watch any recent pro set, both pros dont ALWAYS approach cuz its stupid, and stingray doesnt never approach you cant win by never approaching, i dont even know anything about stingreay but iove seen his tourney sets and there are so many pros just as passive as he is

I sometimes question myself why you don’t go for that one true combo with scythe, weapon throw into unarmed D-Light (You can get it down to 2 Dodge Frames if you position yourself and time it right) and then pick up the scythe, jump and D-Air (which is true) I guess people in Diamond are just ready for it huh?
