All I want for Jim is a suite of cards (asset, skill, event) that are focused around choosing a negative symbol token rather than revealing a token, in exchange for a small positive effect. Something that is good by itself, but then really shines in Jim.

One potential taboo I've been testing for Neither Rain Nor Snow, both to help balance it as well as deal with some potential rules problems: "If you fail this test, take 1 damage and 1 horror to cancel any number of effects of the failed test." This adds a cost, so it's not "Get-Out-Of-Jail-Free," and it pairs up well with Stella's Elder Sign.

I honestly think that there are so many tools available to seekers/investigators that Mandy is no longer as broken relative to other investigators. Darrell for example can achieve identical if not better results with his card pool - in my opinion the arkham card pool is strong enough that stat lines don't really matter anymore. Great video!

I think a lot of people when they talk about Mandy not being powerful really neglect her ability. It's not just her stats, it's the fact that she's essentially doubling up every card that you play that searches. She gets that amazing ability on top of her great statline and deckbuilding. Darrell is great, there's no doubt. But imo, I think he's overhyped by the community as a whole currently. He's just new and exciting. If he shapes how the game is designed like Mandy did, then I'll bite the Darrel hype.

Daniela would probably be the strongest offensive Investigator if she had access to all Guardian Cards. Already she is practically unkillable and kills things when they even so much as breath on her.

Dude, you guys should try spellslinger Mateo with Power Word. It's quite thinky and VERY consistent, borderline OP sometimes, but that's a Power Word problem.. Requires a campaign with quite a lot of enemies, though. TFA (standard) tested and approved. Most importantly, it's fun :)

Gloria represents (currently, as she is not a published campaign expansion investigator) pay-to-win perfectly. You pay the little bit of extra money to buy her cards, and then you win. Hopefully they change her ability when published in an expansion.
