PlayLand's new Thundervolt Roller Coaster

this is my second coaster ever my first one is the wooden one and boy oh boy is this GREAT. Ive been scared of roller coasters all my life hearing the count down sound is SO SCARY but i told myself its fine because its short. Before you are even scared its over so its amazing for beginners. I love it i would go again, feels like im flying!

Hey I see me! I was the guy in the red fire flower shirt in the front row. I don’t care what people say about this ride, sure it’s not the tallest, fastest, or best roller coaster out there, but it’s still a fun ride and is a perfect fit for Playland for being an older launch roller coaster.

Yeah, they definitely could have gotten something faster and that has inversions for the price they paid, but they certainly knocked it out of the park with the theming and queue design.

I stood in line for this last Tursday for about and hour and the queue was only 3/4 full. If the line is long its not worth it for the 20 second ride.

Isn't the layout just another Rita/desert race clone except it has a tophat at the beginning and lsm launch?

This was an intamin coaster, but overhauled by zamperla by replacing the hydraulic launch with a lsm launch. Other than the launch it is the same overall layout
