I would think brown would make the most sense for Donatello's bo. If not brown then purple to match his color of choice I suppose. But the orange is what the original turtles figures had. But, the 2012 line did give silver to the bladed weapons and brown for the bo staff for Donnie. Mikey still had orang though.

I'm not sure they're sharing bodies: Don seems to have skinnier thighs and arms and the front shell is shaped differently.

It's taking me a while to warm up to the TMNT designs, but I'm getting there. It's not a design that I'm usually accustomed to, but it's something unique for sure. It's a cool looking Donatello figure. Thanks, Spot! I appreciate the hard work! God bless and stay safe!

The weapon is orange to match the art and the movie. Also in the movie unlike his brothers the bo staff is solid orange with a few stickers that playmates didn’t include. Also the headphones are meant to sit around his neck. There is also a sewer playset coming out. That’s probably where the pegs will be used
