everyday better well, her group promoted. ppl just don't go out of the way to overhype them/her like they did with big name groups or those from popular agencies that get hyped even before debut or even without having to prove anything yet. for Jiwoo/KARD, their fame came from what they present, that's how they became really good. everything is earned. for those with instant fame, there are good ones too, but there are also mediocre ones who can still make it just by brand power.

This is because their demographic consists mostly of western audience. Their songs appeal to them more but I think with the right song and right concept, they'll eventually get a stable fanbase in Korea and hopefully DSP will take advantage of this and promote them properly in Korea.

on a real note she killed this like she literally had the best performance I know everyone has a different opinion but that's mine I loved the other performances too but not one of them gave me this vibe it was perfect her dance her singing and rapping and she was still not out of breath. marii_h how did you know dsp hadn't done anything tho? kpop industry is all bout power, influence, money. opportunities doesn't just come if it's merely the company doing something(unless backed with the elements mentioned before). if it's that simple... there'd be more variety of talents on various shows even from nugu groups/agencies. n dsp isn't as big a name as it used to be. even Jiwoo getting an opportunity here most likely bcuz of KARD's international fame... but how did that came to be, dsp took the risk not even big powerful agencies were willing to take, n gave them cool songs, concept, etc. yeah, dsp, like any other agencies has its faults but i wish more ppl would give credit where its due. it's because of dsp, there's the kinda KARD fans got to know n love. or else they could all be in random typical girlgroup n boygroup doing the same few concepts in those categories n never reached most ppl's radar since competition would be too great.

@@hslpt3 Not just for Jiwoo but for whole Kard DSP hasn't really done shit for years. They just went to gather money abroad when they could have promoted Kard better. And this opportunity wasn't dsp's doings, it was Mnet who saw Jiwoo's talent and had a meeting with her after dumb litty stage. Yes dsp isn't as big of a company as they used to be they they could have done a muuuuuucch better job at promoting their members and kard.
