People need to stop saying "somi is just a pretty face" "She wins just because she's from JYP" OH COME ON. I didn't even watch sixteen or produce 101. I just started seeing her as IOI and just heard of her name all this time. I didn't even know she's from JYP. Somi has this very striking visual that differs her from the rest thanks to her mixed background. A memorable visual is #1 necessity to survive among hundreds of female idols. She also can sing at idol level and way better than some senior idols who are claimed as "visual", I won't name any names. She dance very good, she has taekwondo skill, good at english, and the most important is that she has a good personality.

Loola Palooza ya she is pretty AND PRETTY TALENTED HERSELF. However it's not fair because the other team did WAY BETTER than Somi's team... As if the main vocal of Somi's team wasn't strong enough. i watched her since sixteen and i can tell u she is the most cheerful member and friendly:)) she is a total package too! she can sing,dance and rap well and she even got praised by JYP that she is a person with star potential bcoz of her stage presence. Well she's young, I heard there's a new law in Korea that further restricts underage idols from working too much (idols under the age 16 internationally). Since she's 14 she would restrict the group from coming back and performing a lot. Not to mention all of the variety shows twice does. Imo she would be overwhelmed if she debuted with twice she is too young, same in nattys case. Twice barely ever sleeps.
