mine was branded with Encore on it.. RED and like this body wise.. but i guess people could changed the neck, didnt seem like the people who would do that tho.

lol i picked up a guitar like that by Encore I did buy it a a play thing to work on, Floyd Rose.. Scrapping off the chip board layers was nice. Guess worse comes to worse i got a NECK and Parts for £8 from Cambridge way (i didnt expect to win the bid, turned out i was the only one)

this is going to sound crazy. but I actually have a Kay Starter Series guitar and it has the springs showing like that. the body's wood is plywood. the neck is Mahogany and fretboard is ebony. but for some reason it has sustain out the ass. it literally last a good 30 seconds on clean channel. can you tell me how this is possible?

I think the spring in this system just need ditching, they have no protection at all and rust up like a wet pair of nuns knickers... ive been playing around with PVC Tubing in the Spring and Shrink Tubing around the outer spring to kill the spring sound. Might look in to sound proofing that area.. dont think can do it in this guitar as its so THIN, Cardboard after all.
