Just two things: 1. Some areas are way too dark. It would be great if they added a light source, like a lantern or torch, to help navigate better. 2. While the solo content is fun, it would be even better if the dungeons scaled to accommodate two or three players. Playing with a friend would make the experience much more enjoyable!

lol. The areas are all fine. You forgot to setup everything when you are being asked, so the whole thing is going to be dark for you. Literally every game asks you to set it up. And even after that you can change that. Secondly, all the player asked for a casual, easy game that you can do all by yourself. You can literally do every single content (or you could - you just can't enter alone to some places). This is what the majority of the players asked for.

@@moo8698 You misunderstood. I know the game allows you to adjust the brightness at the start, which is great. However, on my 85-inch 120Hz Sony TV, certain areas appear too dark, almost like there are specific spots that lack proper lighting. It would be amazing if there were some ambient lighting from a lantern or something similar to improve visibility in those areas. Also, when it comes to doing missions, it would be a lot more fun with a friend. I recently tried to do a dungeon, but it was limited to solo play. It would be nice if dungeons could scale to allow duos or trios, so you could complete them with friends rather than waiting outside while they finish, and vice versa.

This would 100% sell me on the game as a newcomer. I'm actually very much planning on going back. I'm in a discord with some friends (and some friendly strangers) already making plans. My only real issue with the game has been the end-game gear progression. I think none of the gimmicks they've implemented so far have been quite right. For me, I'd say the shard upgrade system was probably the best... knock out some dungeons, get plenty of shards to upgrade as much as I need. I don't like the current daily gold sinks (chromatic seals) that offset my daily gold gains... and I'm still very skeptical or this 725 boost. I think they should do something more closely matching Destiny 2. At endgame, it's essentially the same gearscore system anyway.

100% agree. They definitely have not found a robust formula for the late game grind otherwise they would stick to something rather than keep mixing it up. Thanks not to say its unplayable. The new player experience in this game will be well worth the money. I think the gold sinks are literally inflation measures xD AGS doing a better job at managing their economy than the government.

If I understand it correctly, on PC you get Aeternum automatically if you own RoTAE. You need to buy the extension if you want to play Aeternum. If you only have the base game, nothing changes for you.

I love the first 2 months of NW, the early game is pretty strong and fun but the late game is horrible you have nowhere to go after the 2 months. My sugestion as I already once said on a forum is: Make the game seasonal like as Diablo for example. Seasons would have themes and maybe little story campaigns. Season would always start as fresh start server for IDK you could go with 6 months cycle so you have time to do thing and dont feel the feel of rush and Amazon would have time to do new content. In this seasonal scenario of NW, in my opinion more people would actualy stay in the game with people returning every 6 months. This way you could actualy make BIG Seasons from time to time in form of PAYED DLC. I think this would be great I Would love that. And for people who dont want to start over and over again there would still be the Ethernal server where some of the updates would make theyr way. @New World what do you say??

New World is a game that hooks you, but it could be so much more! The gameplay is fluid and the world feels alive, but the aesthetics and narrative still need polishing. The armor, especially for greatsword users, looks disproportionate, like a child is carrying a Norse warrior's blade. The story, while improving, lacks a more epic and dark tone, something that truly immerses us. Still no new elemental weapons for mages after 3 years of game even though elements like lightning and arcane exists since the beginning... That's ridiculous, if you want to play mage there's only fire to be used... THREE F YEARS THROWING THE SAME FIRE SKILLS... No new opr map and just one new arena map... Sure it will be fun to play the game from 0, but once we get to lvl 65, master all the trade skills, and the abusive guilds take control of the entire map again, what will we have? What's new for us? I want a game that the combat gameplay is exactly like NW but with complete different content, where devs care about the players opinions, bringing real updates and new contents every now and then... I played the beta and not happy that they lowered the graphic quality on pc, characters now look like fortnite character models, The removed fog in some areas and lighting effects and weapon effects got lowered as well.. I did notice the performance is better prob because of the graphics got a downgrade. They made colors pop more and the contrast is much better but thats to counter for the degradation of graphic quality , Other than that the game seems much better UI got cleaned up.

The fact we don't have any other battlegrounds is wild to me, OPR was teased in 2020. We are 4 years later with no 10v10 Capture the Flag which should be the simplest thing to make.....

@@Kay-low bad bait. Playing OPR vs 20 ppl using target lock means you die in a second because they ALL HIT their shots. In real NEW world that was never the case, you could easily kite and play vs many players at once and be completely fine if you had good movement and dodging. This isn't the same game when you introduce target-lock in PVP, if you don't see that and didn't try it, then return to your tab-target world of warcraft pvp please.

It is. Its the same it ever was. They will just bring more Solo Content. There are videos in KZbin, where Scott explains the change of the major genre. But its just a marketing move... Chill :)
