I keep seeing posts about fans wishing the Bills drafted McConkey, but he would’ve been trash in our system. Plus he’s a slot and we have Shakir. I hope Sean is ready, listen I hear you about the 3 mlbs on the field but that’s what the ravens want, Johnson is one of the best nickels and can make tackles. If the bills go 3 backers the ravens will look to stretch the defense horizontally like the rams did. A lot of jet dive and sweep from that 23 jumbo we saw last week. If the bills play base, then that opens the door for Henry to hammer the front 4. What I’m getting at is the key to winning on defense is winning one on one up front if the bills can’t do that the ravens offense will have their way I think scheme wise the ravens offense is a Mis match for the bills defense. I think it will be on Josh to keep pace, and hope for a big play on defense. That’s just my thoughts.

I think you’re right on winning 1-1 battles, but we have to scheme something up on defense, to stop the run. If I’m coach McDermott I’m going for it on 4 down, a lot. Just say the ravens get the ball first and score a TD. Then buffalo gets the ball and it’s 4 and 3 on our 38 yard line, don’t punt, go for it , because if the ravens get up 14 it can be bad.

The last 3 seasons didn't end well for the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional playoff round: 2021: 13 Seconds 2022: Damar Hamlin 2023: Wide Right Being in the New England region, I remember how exciting it was for the Patriots to begin their playoff run in the Divisional playoff round coming off a first round bye, IMO which the Bills should have had as the # 2 seed in the AFC. The New England Patriots in the Tom Brady/Bill Belichick era from 2000 to 2019 were the AFC's #2 seed 7 times, had a bye and advanced to at least the AFC Championship game each time and advancing to the Super Bowl 3 times. The only time the Patriots lost their first playoff game coming off a bye was in 2010 as the #1 seed.
