Is it weird that this whole bit inspired me to write a light novel about a man discovering his trans bf from HS had his kid but didn't tell him and the man is still in love with him and wants to find the truth as to why he didn't tell him and I imagine that (parts of this) are him talking to their daughter and specifically what sparked this inspiration was the "sometimes I feel like youre only my friend bc you wanna kiss my dad" 'what?! That's crazy' line but recontextualized as genuine? I mean I know it is but I'm still gonna do it, I just want people to know about it.
