Not all 3 inch deep strike are equal, for example my tau can only do that if you spend 2 cp, now its 2 cp for 6 inches, that means u deep strike and i dont get my detachement rule because i have to be in withing 6 inch.

It made for an epic game, but just a friendly reminder to Jordan that the Norn DOESN’T loose its OC on your turn due to Singular Purpose; it would drop to 0 then immediately go back to 15. On the opponents turn it would be the opposite because it's the player with the turn that chooses the order.

As long as it is a standard d10 spread, the 6 should be opposite of the 5. *On a d10 the opposite sides should add to 11. Though why are you using d10 in WH40K?

in general, how long are these games on the show? they edit, so it's about 40 minutes, but behind the edit, in the studio, no edits, about how long? cause friends and I are trying to speed up our games but the keep ending up like 4+ hours

Thats about average, most tournaments games are about 2 hours but casual play is anywhere between 4 to 6 hours

I took a friend to a double tournament and he consistently takes too long. I tried telling him it’s more important to get 5 rounds finished then shoot every single lasgun but he didn’t listen lol he’s great at casual play though. But yeah I would say that’s the biggest difference.

Either you hyperoptimize and tailor your list to your opponent or you play whatever, not even taking the opponent's faction into account, is that really what you think? You don't need to try and tailor your list to see that 2 Tyrannofex are going to be overkill against Orks, no matter what they bring.

Because you don’t know your opponents faction when you write a list. If you are asking what they are playing and then writing your list you are tailoring and that’s frowned on.

Not every game works by tournament or league logic, sometimes players even specifically ask each other to play certain factions for one reason or another. And even when disregarding all of that, doing 2 Tyrannofex would draw bewildered looks UNLESS you specifically design your list to be used against tank armies. So it's a hyper specialised list either way.
