Hot damn dude this is incredible, great job. This makes me really wish that Sony sometime soon starts making classic/mini versions of the PS1 and PS2 like Nintendo has that also have disk trays that let you play any old games you may still have for the original consoles. Especially now with ROM files for all old games getting purged off the internet. :(

I think I might use the same one, although I was thinking of making a new one but yes the startup sound is very incredible. I still love rewatching it everyday. The sound might be modified a bit with reverb.

Personally, I think the RSOD should have been a red pupil with the cubes spinning inside it as it looks at the player. Sort of a representation of the MECHACON warning the player to insert readable media as opposed to a supposed backup. I think if either yourself, or Sony themselves implemented that, THAT would have been scary as hell!

@B-Mac *JSP The B-Mac "PS2 Pro" concept beats up louis wolf's PlayStation 2.5 design. It is more professional, it gives more that "modern look" to the PS2.
