Have experience using the PS3, PS4, and recently, the PS5. With a good share of OCD. IIRC not the actual startup screen at the "PLAYSTATION 3" screen, but could depend on model or version. Text font accurate. Seems similar to the PS2 startup. Edit: Before the ding of the text, it would display the name of the console in a different font and the health and safety warning, before logging in to your profile. 0:25 is not the correct font at all. Text placement next to button prompts is wrong. Background looks fine enough, and having it be static is accurate in this case. PS3 viruses are not common and it's either very rare to see an actual error message for it or it doesn't exist. I'd personally go with some components failing. If it tells you to shut it down, I'd imagine it automatically does that or has a single button prompt to do so, or both. "Shut it" could be changed to "Shut Down" or "Power Off". At the one minute area, I'd personally just have a core BIOS screen saying something like "Cannot start the PS3. Cannot access system storage. Contact technical support. ([long playstation error code]) To turn off the PS3, hold the power button for 3-5 seconds." (Inspired by a PS4 error screen I've got with software updates. May not be accurate to PS3, but it's close enough.) 1:07 is accurate with black screen, but dear god the font is garbage. Typo of "off" and "support". You may not be fluent of English. "Doesn't work at all" Personally, the wording doesn't make sense. Refer to above. "SHUT IT" Refer to above on this topic. Overheating would warrant an automatic shutdown. Capitalization is technically incorrect on "Overheating". No space separating the period and "Turn". Having the text just be flipped and reversed just doesn't feel correct for me. 1:46 Many typos, and text positions are not at the same horizontal position. Typo at "Technical". Only language is English, for me, so I can't personally translate many of them. I like the detail you tried to add, but I'd imagine it would override the startup animation and show immediately. Another detail to note is that it would do a triple-beep from the console itself, but for direct recording of the video output, the beeps will not be heard. Nice detail, but execution could be improved. Although, I have a feeling this is from somewhere else, and there is also the core BIOS screen. Maybe a failsafe screen? 2:06 Dial-up internet noise. 2:08 wtf is this? 2:10 DIAL-UP INTERNET NOISE 2:13 what, the demon in your PS3 gonna corrupt your save of Call Of Duty 4? 2:16 No. At this point, it should be fucked if you see the red screen of death telling you to contact support. Use the "Safe Mode" PS3 screen and do a recovery thing. Maybe the "Initialize" option, which is basically a reformat. 2:20 omg get ready for le recovery!!!!!!!!!!! 2:22 Doesn't that defeat the purpose? 2:23 turn on deez nuts 2:30 when the corruption (IMO, do a recovery screen with a loading bar first.) 2:37 Ah yes, the classic "FATAL ERROR" jumpscare. (Flashing lights.) Don't do this. It doesn't make any sense, and its not good for people with epilepsy to just do some flashing lights when its not necessary. Hell, just go back to the RSOD I mentioned with the different language text, and end it there. Or have the recovery option fail or something, and have an effective soft-brick. Anything other than this. 2:43 Red flashing light switches to black. Why? This fail-screen was... Eh? Kinda bad. The blatantly incorrect font (I mean, you could have just done a Google search) not that good text positions, and a crappy "FATAL ERROR" jumpscare at the end, plus some other stuff and some sequences that don't make that most sense. Fix those major issues, and I think you can get a almost half-decent killscreen. I can tell there was at least SOME research and passion into it, but just not enough. I hope you improve past this. Watch some other good killscreens, and do your research. Improve in replies.
