consoles have an amazing lifespan. My parents bought me a PS4 (fat) on my 11th birthday (22/06/2016) and its almost 6 years now and it rarely gives stutters and has only shutdown twice but most importantly, no money needed for maintenance because all you need to do is clean it once a month Edit: Forgot to include how much I bought it for. Using the SAR-INR Rates from back then, it was priced at Rs 32,000 for the 1TB model along with 2 controllers and they even threw in a 50% discount for the games I bought.

I bought a PS4 Slim in 2018. It still runs all major titles with ease. A very good Machine. One problem I face though is recording + streaming, quality isn't good and reading chat is pain. Also I dont know if it happens with all consoles, but as soon as Electricity goes off, my ps4 switches off and doesn't turn on until electricity is back. I have tried everything for this btw. Also there were rumours that Sony might discontinue services for the ps4 soon. All in All you can go for it 👍

I am playing God of War Ragnarok on a 2013 PS4 model and it's still performing well. Btw the problem of PS4 shutting down abruptly when there is power outage even with an invertor can easily be solved by connecting your PS4 with an ups used for computer etc. Most Inverters are probably a square wave. Playstations don't work properly with a square wave inverters.

Thanks for the Video, I've have been using PS4 slim for 4 years. It's been a great console plays lot of games in 1080p 30fps, I am using a monitor with same spec is it plays better than my TV. The only problem with this console is the STORGE which is 500GB and games like RDR2 LOU2 are like 100 GB. For me that's a bummer. @@Lightyagamie not sure about MacBook but you can definitely connect your ps4 to your laptop, I'm not talking about remote play which might have some latency issues rather a direct connection for which you will have to purchase a good hdmi adapter (I have bought pibox) and install an OSB software for screen capture. I'll suggest to go for ps5 since many games will only come on ps5 starting pretty soon, but if your getting a ps4 slim/Pro for a good price from trusty source it isn't a bad choice because there's still a lot of game to play on it and some will come on ps4 till the end of 2023 or till 2024 from what I have heard

I would say, I bought xbox series s afre watching your last video about xbox series s. I shifted myself from ps4 slim to series s. I think one should go for series s than ps4, if someone wants really good experience with titles then they won't get that same experience on xbox.. exclusive titles are better on ps but I still like my purchase of series s.

I completely agree, better buy a decent laptop for productivity and PS4 for gaming. I've Asus x505 ryzen 5 with SSD (40k) and a PS4 slim. I've tried playing games on laptop but playing on console is much better and comfortable for me. Also, it's best for story mode games and the graphics will feel awesome unless you're a high end gaming pc player. Finally, if you can afford ps5 for 50k and it's games which costs around 2.5k, go for it else buy a PS4 (17-18k) and play games which are compatively very cheap. Jailbreak PS4s are little costly. I've 9.03 version and I'm waiting for it's jailbreak release.
