Yep it's great. He did one mistake aka apple to oranges comparisons though. When installing the disc of Judgment Xbox starts patching right away and you can see this in the video with the ~2GB download. Whereas his PS5 showed a message to start the game without the patch that was still downloading. So he basically measured Judgement being installed and patches vs Judgment being just installed. Unless my spanish is a to rusty that is xD

I own both systems, but I’ve noticed that the PS5 fails to actually load or omits to show the studio loading screens on game start ups. If they did I’m sure game loading would be much closer. However the PS5 SSD installs disc based games twice or even three times as fast as the Xbox series X. In any event both are major upgrades over their predecessors by a long shot.

When we take a look at the loading times of Sony games like Spiderman or demons souls, it is easy to see that PS5 SSD is at another level

Normal, PS5 has a compression algorithm that makes games take up less space. On the XBOX it is normal the time it takes. It is what it takes on a PC to dump a backup from the blu-ray disc to the SDD disk.

@@b0b203 No, the thing is that the Xbox UI is still in 1080p, so if you have a 4K tv you'll still see an upscaled 1080 UI to 4K. You can kinda notice it sometimes, if it looks blurry that's the reason. Still, it would really impact the boot time.

This generation is different. Both companies are releasing a massive amount of exclusives but the genres are different. Xbox has rpgs and fps locked down but ps5 will have more single player story games. Xbox has a subscription service worth subscribing to as well. Load times and graphics on both consoles will be negligible. We are looking at a return to the 360 and ps3 era of competition with Xbox really using Microsoft’s tech to reach multiple platforms with streaming.

No one denies Nintendo has a reputation for being kid friendly, nor having less power. Yet it does surprisingly well sale-wise. I'd much rather play Zelda, Super Smash, Xenoblade and Fire Emblem than what these consoles offer, but some people can barely believe anyone who's not a kid can enjoy Nintendo games as they're fully entranced in their incessant need to confirm their own "adulthood" through video games rather than having fun with them. It's a damn mystery why they are this way, but I doubt you'll get anywhere arguing with them

@@Brentt777 So? The other guy mentioned that the XSX file was 31GB while the PS5 was 20GB, so let's do some math here. PS5 disc download time was 13 minutes (rounded) and XSX is 31 minutes (rounded). Xbox installed at a rate of about 1GB/m, which is amazing but the PS5 installed at a rate of about 1.54GB/m. If XSX file was also 20GB, it would install in about 20 minutes, which is still slower.

As far as I know, Quick Resume in Xbox is like you can switch between the games you already launched without restarting them. For example I can pause in Yakuza in a boss fight and switch to DOOM, play a little bit, and switch back to Yakuza to continue the boss fight from exactly where I paused, no progress lost. I remember PS5 doesn't have this feature...or does it now?

Assassin's Creed on PS5 is an entire 17GB smaller for some reason, and the disc install test was 11GB smaller. I did some digging and it appears the PS5 uses a different type of file format that allows for higher compression to reduce the overall size of games. It explains why the Xbox is quicker during startup and loading the home UI, but slower for installations and loading games. The PS5 just has smaller files to deal with.

Era obvio que en juegos de Next Gen iba a ser casi el doble de rápida PS5, si que es cierto que en juegos retrocompatibles es mucho mas rápida Xbox series por su fantastica tecnología Velocity Arquitecture, pero lo que es es, y lo que no es no es, hay que dejarse de fanatismos, el SSD de PS5 es una locura (rapidísimo) y el trabajo realizado por Microsoft con su Quick Resume y el arranque del SO tanto desde cero como desde la consola suspendida es otra locura, me encanta el trabajo que han realizado los ingenieros de Sony y Microsoft han realizado dos maquinas magnificas, casi diría que una fusión de ambas sería la perfección... Lo de la oscuridad en la Xbox es por el Dolby Vision, y como la tienes calibrada. Esta claro una OLED anterior al segundo semestre del 2020. Por ende usa una versión la TV de Dolby Vision comprimido y tienes que poner el modo cine/cine profesional (o el modo homologo, dependiendo de la marca) y subir la iluminación del panel OLED alto. En cuanto a la PS5 no te pasa eso porque usa HDR 10+, no usa el estándar Dolby. Dicho esto prefiero (y prefiere cualquier entusiasta de la imagen y el sonido) DolbyVision en cualquiera de sus dos versiones mil veces, antes que HDR10+. (Entre otras tengo dos OLEDs en casa, una Sony A1 y una LG GX2021; por eso te digo que pasa con el HDR, porque veo la diferencia entre ambas TVs) En cuanto a las descargas, tienes que estar teniendo algo mal configurado, no sé si la tendrás por ethernet o por wifi, pero aunque fuese wifi 5GHZ, si estás cerca del router debería darte unos 800mb, y por cable si haces un test como en mi caso con Movistar, Series X me clavaba los 960Mb de bajada y los 920 de subida. Si no te da eso, o no tienes abiertos los puertos (si vas a configuración de red te hace varios test diferentes para que veas donde puede estar el problema y será la NAT o que tienes juegos abiertos), y solo se los tienes a la Play; o tienes juegos en primer o segundo plano (quickresume) abiertos , y eso te limita el ancho de banda porque mantiene los juegos intactos y conectados a internet para que sigas en el mismo momento en el que estabas en el juego. En cuanto a la Play5 me da más o menos la misma velocidad por cable va genial por cable. Por wifi la verdad es que no probé ninguna de las dos. Así que lo dicho, tendrás alguna de las dos opciones que te comenté. Y si estás por wifi, activa DMZ en el Router, con la IP de la Xbox y solventado.

Acabo de comprobar en la store que el peso de judgment de ps5 es de 30gb y lo que instala en el video del analistadebits pesa 20gb. Los 10 restantes los intala mientras juegas. Por lo que veo ya sale reflejada la reducción conseguida mediante Kraken en la Store. Me encantó el ancho de banda que tiene la PS5, en lo que es velocidad de instalación le da la vuelta completamente a Xbox y eso me gusta ya que odiaba los tiempos de copiado de archivos en la PS4. En lo que es a velocidad de encendido ahí es puro sistema operativo y Xbox esta muy bien optimizado. Piensa que el Wifi 5 tiene una velocidad de 6,9Gbps, que es mucho más de lo que ofrecen todas las operadoras de internet, el Wifi 5 no va a limitarte nada la velocidad de descarga con respecto al 6, pues con las conexiones actuales de varios cientos de Megas ambos Wifi trabajan siempre a velocidades muy inferiores a las que soportan quedando totalmente desaprovechados. Edit: Corrijo los datos que he puesto antes eran erróneos, el Wifi 5 es muy superior a las conexiones de internet actuales.

Me gusto el video, esta claro que ambas empresas se dieron cuenta de la importancia de nuestro tiempo, con que ambas consolas tengan SSD es un paso enorme para el jugador, si hay tiempo mejores y otros peores, pero no deja de ser una gran verdad que en ambas consolas ganaron los consumidores. Siendo partidaridario, me encanta lo que hizo sony con PS5.

@@calixgiles3387 Es que Serie X me parece una gran consola, muy pero muy buena, su ingeniería en la construcción es sublime. Lo unico que me detiene es que tengo una muy buena PC, osea, no tengo la necesidad de una consola de microsoft, en cambio sony como explime el hardware para entregar software unico, para mi, eso lo cambia todo. Lo mismo nintendo, tiene un hardware obsoleto, pero el software que entregan exprimiendo cada rincon de sus componentes es increíble en muchos casos.

The PlayStation had major improvements. Meanwhile the Xbox over here still looks like the Xbox 1. But, the loading time on the Xbox was what got people so into it. I have respect for both consoles and they are both incredible machines. Nice video.

I will just say resolution and framerate are not absolute measures of performance, whats important is IMAGE QUALITY (post processing effects, advanced lighting, particle effects, etc) The more you have of thise things the more resolution and framerate you have to sacrifice, on PC, PS5 or XSX. Take for examole The Medium. It runs like crap on XSX and also on PC, even powerful ones because it is not well optimized and has a lot going on. @@PhilipHuertas El problema es que eso se va a ver hasta dentro de un año o dos que lleguen los juegos nativos a Series X y PS5, de momento es muy inexacto ese tema, ya que unos dicen que es por la resolución, pero otros piensan que es por la compresión de los SSD de cada consola. Cuando un juego sea nativo en ambas consolas, ahí se definirá ese tema.

Yo tengo ambas consolas y en efecto el inicio de Xbox es más rápido, pero el menú de PS5 va a 4K con HDR y el de Xbox a 1080P, eso sin mencionar que la Xbox cuando la apagas no se apaga completamente, entra en modo suspensión mientras que PS5 si se apaga completamente. Y lo sé porque una vez que apago el Series X el ventilador queda trabajando aún y no se apaga del todo a menos que lo hagas manualmente desde la configuración o desactives la función de inicio instantáneo. Eso si, en videojuegos la PS5 le duplica la velocidad en algunos juegos a menos que estos funcionen bajo retro compatibilidad en la Series X, ahi van casi a la par y a veces gana Xbox por dos o tres segundos. En Fortnite, PS5 inicia mucho más rápido.

Perfectamente explicado y en la Ps5 pasa algo parecido, el ventilador se queda encendido y funciona a muy poca velocidad cuando la consola esta en modo reposo y tienes activada la opción de que pueda cargar el mando a través del usb,pero sólo así.Si la apagas se apaga del todo.
