Present gen was in no way next gen compared to last gen... Kudos to UE 5, console companies lack of generosity and lgbtqi agenda being forced on gamers via game dev that don not have passion for game development... Very few gamers were optimized for this generation hardware to the levels optimization were done last gen...

Consoles used to make sense because they were cheaper, had great exclusives and never really lagged but the only console that still has good exclusives imo is nintendo. That and xbox and sony port their games to pc now so why not play them on better hardware. You can get a pc that's better than any console for only slightly more cost these days.

I agree mate , I said it before , if you take away people’s capacity to use hardware in certain way , like using disk games for example , or being able to play movies of your machine , firstly your game disks that cost a fair bit of coin go in the bin, you can no longer play your blue ray movies on the machine , your device suddenly became a whole lot less valuable . We have seen phone makers follow this sort of marketing, and a lot of them are now out of business ! You take away features and options and value , suddenly your product loses a whole lot of its appeal.

@ hit the nail on the head there. They are also losing a huge portion of their sales due to second hand game stores which is why I think they are removing disk entirely. With the ps5 pro they labelled it “disc free console” on the box which I think is disgusting. If the ps6 is without a disc drive completely I’ll be switching to pc.

If you want to piss your customers off , take away useful features like blue ray/CD drives, etc , not only does it reduce functionality of the device , it also takes away the option of using the library of cds of games and or movies that may be worth possibly hundreds or even thousands of dollars ! Guaranteed you will drive away many customers that will steer away from your brand like the plague . It’s not hard to understand, if you crap in your customers face ….. they will desert you .

I think GTA 6 will shut down studios. And anybody afraid of woke stuff in GTA 6 is a grifter.. GTA is synonymous with making fun of everyone.. Before the PS5, I had a PS4. My laptop could play ac3 in 80fps. My PS4 played ac3 in 30fps...so yeah, the couch won.

Also ...MS is planning to launch it's Nex-Gen Console approx. 1 year ahead of the PS6 like it did with the Xbox 360 vs PS3 ...which MS won. This is why MS decided NOT do a current Gen Console refresh like Sony's PS5 Pro.👍

@@dailyhubranx Again ...that is also why MS skipped the refresh, so Game developers will also have alot more time to produce the needed Nex-Gen/System games. The PS5 Pro will always be held back because it has to play games that were primarily designed to be compatible for the standard PS5.

Doubt it bud , look at the FPS on some of the demanding games on the current PlayStation , at times it is somewhat lack lustre. You can spec up a gaming PC to utterly destroy it, and not only that , you can actually do other things with your pc like browse the web , play the tube , movies , music or even conduct your business with it , and it’s synced to your other devices . What can you do on the PlayStation ? Answer , not much , mostly just games . Pc’s will be around long after the PlayStation is just a memory.
