The gameplay is conceptually similar to the Super Smash Bros. series, in which up to four players can battle each other using characters from various Sony franchises such as God of War, PaRappa the Rapper and Sly Cooper, as well as third-party franchises like BioShock. There are, however, differences in how opponents are defeated. During the game, players damage other players to receive orbs that build up a power meter at the bottom of the screen (These orbs can also be found on the stage over the course of the match). Earning enough power allows players to use one of three levels of super moves which can be used to defeat opponents and earn points. The game will feature cross-platform play between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions.
The game features a traditional single-player arcade mode, in which players must defeat several randomly-selected opponents, followed by a character-specific rival battle and, ultimately, a battle against the game's main antagonist and final boss, Polygon Man. Multiplayer modes include time-based matches, where players compete to achieve the most kills within a time limit, stock based matches, where players attempt to be the last one standing, and kill-limit matches, where players compete to be the first to reach a certain number of kills. The game also features a single-player challenge mode, in which players attempt to complete specific objectives.

Radec is definitely the strongest character killzone ever had. I put him up as one of the best villains of any video game period.

OmniBurst048 I think you misunderstand. Radec is portrayed as a villain in Killzone 2... but portrayal and reality aren't always the same thing. It is quite popular consensus (among most of the Killzone fan base in my experience) that the Helghast are in fact the hero's of the series, and the ISA villains and scum. Those who know the history and lore of Killzone tend to hold this opinion, because quite frankly, it is correct. Helghast are merely trying to defend themselves, take back what was so wrongly stolen from them, and perhaps get a little revenge for the absolute pain inflicted on them by the ISA aggressors who stole their home, forced them to survive in a wasteland, bombed them with chemical weapons, and dehumanized them... all because they didn't like having to pay taxes to fly through Helghast space lanes. Helghats are the true "good guys" of Killzone, and that is why a Killzone game where you play as the Helghast has become so widely requested

SkiddyGaming Yeah, I thought he's a badass villain, but I keep hearing he's a badass hero. He's the reason why I know what Killzone is, I never played it, but I know who Radec is and in my opinion, if he didn't committed suicide, the cutscenes in Killzone 3 would've been SO better with seeing his character and voice more often.
